New iPad should be available for purchase on March 16

According to the 9to5Mac, sales of the new iPad will start on Friday of the next week, day 16. The information, passed on by a source, highlights the same pattern used in the launch of the iPad 2, which was launched on March 11 and sales began on Friday of the following week.

Another fact that leads us to believe that sales of the new tablet from Apple will start on this date is the opening of two new Apple Stores: One in London and one in Houston, Texas.

Furthermore, the 9to5Mac states that, according to reports sent yesterday, the new iPad will be marketed as iPadHD and will possibly have an LTE version (4G). We won't know for sure until tomorrow, during the official launch of the product.
