New trailer for Zelda Tears of The Kingdom is amazing!

This Thursday (13), the Nintendo released the final trailer for The Legends of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. While many details are still under wraps, the video offered a taste of what fans can expect when the game officially launches on May 12th just for Nintendo Switch!

Before the trailer was actually shown, the game's producer, Eiji Aonuma, highlighted the freedom players will have to explore the map and is excited to see how this creativity will be used in hyrule.

Lots of new features in an already known Hyrule

Since the announcement of Tears of the Kingdom, some players were on the back foot, since the game takes place in the hyrule de Breath of the Wild, the title could be more a “DLC” than a really new game. However, Nintendo was keen to highlight several new features.

Through the quick cutscenes, we can see Link free-falling through the skies of hyrule, in addition to also showing new scenarios that are not familiar to fans of the franchise. In addition, we have a better and broader idea of ​​the use of skills and new items that Link will be able to use along the new journey.

Whether transporting people in a wagon or facing robotic enemies in a frantic battle on top of the rails of a volcano, both Link and the players will have many things to do and discover in this scenario.

Link's Allies Return in Tears of The Kingdom

It is impossible not to compare several mechanics of this game with those that already exist in Breath of the Wild, after all, both are built on the same foundation. However, aside from the new features introduced in March, Link won't be all alone.

Among the various scenes presented throughout the three-minute trailer, it is possible to see the game's protagonist fighting alongside several characters we already know, such as members of the zoras Mipha and Sidon.

In addition, at a certain point in the trailer, it is also possible to see the character advancing against enemies on top of his horse, while soldiers organize the protection of a wall. Despite not going into greater detail about these events, it is possible to imagine that enemy forces are trying to conquer all of Hyrule again.

Biggest role for Zelda?

Another very prominent point in the trailer was the participation of Princess zelda: despite not going into further explanation of these details, it is possible to see the princess talking with a mysterious voice, stating that Link is people's last line of defense and hope.

The character also claims that she knows exactly what she should do and in several scenes it is possible to see her accompanying Link on his journey. So, probably, the character will have a more active participation in the story. Unfortunately, these details will only be known for real when the game officially launches next month, as Nintendo is being very mysterious with the plot.

Giant robot battles?

Back in March, we were introduced to one of Link's new abilities: the ultra hand. From the beginning, it was clear that the creation possibilities with this mechanic would be enormous, since, by uniting different objects, it would be possible to create from small boats to explore the waters of hyrule to huge spaceships to conquer the skies.

Now, in this latest Zelda trailer we get a new glimpse of this mechanic, with Link using the ability to create a robot and face enemies also equipped in the same way. While it's unclear if this is just a specific part of the game or something more frequent, fans of Tears of the Kingdom look forward to mech fights!

Ganon also has allies!

This epic clash that has lasted for generations between Link and Ganon will gain new characters in The Legends of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom, since in addition to observing that the protagonist will have allies on this journey, it is also possible to notice that new villains have been recruited for the other team.

And it seems that King Gerudo, this time, spared no effort to carry out his evil plans, as it is possible to see a three-headed dragon facing Link in one of the scenes present in the trailer. Couple these new characters with new added opponents and we have an even more perilous journey than the last.
