At the last event of this year, Apple brought news with the AirPods 3, new colors for the HomePod mini and the Voice Plan plan for the Apple Music service.

In another event in less than a month, the Apple delivered a few more products to add to its already impressive catalogue. We had the launch of new macbooks pro, two new processors, the M1 Pro and the M1 Max, of a new plan for Apple Music, the Voice plan; or AirPods 3 (AirPods 3rd Generation) and new colors for the home pod mini. In addition to these audio resources, we have seen other releases. Let's see how they turned out!

Voice Plan on Apple Music

Starting the event, we were introduced to the new plan included in the Apple Music, Apple's streaming music service. At the Voice plan, users will be able to perform various operations by voice commands with the help of the Crab, Apple's voice assistant. Among the possible commands, we saw the possibility of choosing specific playlists for different moments or occasions, such as a playlist for dinner, or even that playlist to relax and sleep. This function also includes improvements in Siri itself, to be able to properly respond to commands.

for now the Voice plan is not available in Brazil, and can be subscribed for US$4,99 (about R$27,47 in direct conversion) and is in line with the existing plans: Individual e Family. Once subscribed, the Voice Plan can only be used on Apple devices and is not compatible with devices from other brands that support Apple Music.

home pod mini

now about the home pod mini, the novelty is in its new colors. If you still don't know this device, see a little about it. Its upper part has buttons that can be accessed by touch — no protruding buttons. If you have more than one HomePod mini at home, for example, you can ask one of them, by voice command, to play a specific song or playlist, so you can hear what you asked for in any room in the house.

Among other commands, you can ask Siri to write down reminders or even issue a warning for the whole house — or on all devices around the house. They even come in several different colors, including: herd, black, azul, yellow e orangey. Similar to the HomePods, the HomePod mini features a “mesh” design, but this time it's like a ball with the top and bottom edges cut off. O home pod mini can be purchased from November for US$ 99 (about R$545,10 in direct conversion), with no official arrival forecast in Brazil.

AirPods 3 (AirPods 3rd Generation)

Among the rumors floating around today's event, the third generation of Apple's headphones has actually been released. O AirPods 3 came completely revamped, if we take into account that when there is a launch from one AirPods to another, usually small changes are applied. In this case, we see a wireless headset that is differently designed — inside and out. Earlier models had the straight, in-ear design, a design seen for years. Now the AirPods 3 has a little more input bent, giving more security when placed, and the sound will reach the user properly.

A new technology has been added to the AirPods 3: Adaptive EQ. With it, the audio that is reproduced in the headphones is emitted in a specific way for each person, that is, adapted to the user's ear format, allowing him to hear that sound as it really should be heard. In addition, it also has water and sweat resistance (certified IPX4). Once the case is opened, the headphones are automatically paired with devices in the Apple ecosystem, such as iPhone, iPad, Mac, etc. It also has a button on its side, through which it is possible to perform commands such as changing music, pausing music, answering calls and others.

O AirPods 3 still has reproduction in Dolby Atmos, enhancing the user experience as well as the Spatial audio (Spatial Audio), technology that gives “3D audio” to the sounds emitted by the headphones. The headphones' battery supports up to 6 hours of use, which is increased to 30 hours with the case's battery. In 5 minutes of recharge, it is possible to use the headphones for up to an hour. And now it is possible to use the wireless charger MagSafe to recharge the AirPods 3 case.

One of the features that is seen in most headphones these days but not What's included in AirPods 3 is active noise cancellation. However, the Adaptive EQ should do an almost similar function, to deliver maximum audio quality to the user. If you insist on the feature, you can still find noise cancellation in the AirPods Pro e AirPods Max. You can also use Find My to find where your headphones are in case you lose them. The new ones AirPods 3 are available for pre-sale in Brazil for R$2.399, on the Apple website.
