New Harry Potter and Nintendo parks at Universal Orlando to open in May

A Universal orlando is about to open its new theme parks with worlds based on successful franchises, such as Harry Potter, How to Train Your Dragon e Super Mario. This expansion, scheduled for May, is part of the ambitious project epic universe, which promises to offer unprecedented immersive and themed experiences, from magical adventures to encounters with iconic characters from cinema and electronic games.

The Epic Universe expansion

O Universal Epic Universe, located in Universal Orlando Resort, Florida, is set to open a transformative experience on May 22, 2025. This new theme park will feature five immersive worlds, including The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, Dark Universe e Celestial Park. Each of these worlds will offer unique attractions, entertainment and a unique atmosphere for visitors.

O Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic will allow visitors to explore international witchcraft communities, from Paris in the 1920s to the British Ministry in the 1990s. In Super Nintendo World, it will be possible to live immersive adventures in the gaming universe, with attractions such as Mario Kart e Donkey Kong Country. Isle of Berk in How to Train Your Dragon promises to provide everyone, regardless of age, with the opportunity to experience flying with dragons and exploring a Viking village.

O Dark Universe will bring a mysterious atmosphere inspired by the classic supernatural villains of Universal Studio's early hits, while the Celestial Park will invite visitors to a green world filled with entertainment, restaurants and shops. With these five worlds, the epic universe promises to be an incredible addition to the Universal Orlando Resort, offering fun-filled attractions and unforgettable adventures. O Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic promises an incredible immersion into the magic and mysteries of the universe of Harry Potter. Among the main attractions, the Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge, where visitors can ride iconic tracks, throw shells and collect digital coins in an electrifying adventure. In addition to these adventures, Donkey Kong Country promises moments of action while you help Donkey Kong e Diddy kong protecting the Golden Banana in Mine-Cart Madness. Attractions in the world of How to Train Your Dragon

How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk,node Universal Epic Universe, promises to be an epic adventure for all ages. In this immersive world, visitors can explore the island where Vikings and dragons live in harmony. The main attractions include the roller coaster Hiccup's Wing Gliders, which offers the sensation of flying over Berk, and the Dragon Racer's Rally, where visitors can take part in an exciting dragon race. In addition, there is a live show featuring beloved characters such as Hiccup and Toothless, the Fyre Drill.

The Viking village of Berk will be recreated in stunning detail, providing a unique sensory experience. Visitors can stroll through the Viking Training Camp, a space with bridges, slides and agility courses, or explore Mead Hall, carved into a mountain and decorated with giant Viking statues. For those looking for an even more immersive experience, there is the How to Train Your Dragon Kids' Suite, at Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a themed room that sleeps up to five people and offers charming decor inspired by the film.

Dark Universe Attractions

Major attractions include the Experiment Frankenstein, an adventure in which Dr. Victoria Frankenstein places guests in the middle of a rebellion of rampaging monsters. As guests wander the ruined streets of Darkmoor Village, they will encounter supernatural legends and experiments that turn myths into reality.

Celestial Park Attractions

O Celestial Park combines thrilling adventures and sensory delights. This park offers a magical journey through lush vegetation, tree-lined walkways and dancing water fountains. Among the main attractions is the Stardust Racers, a double-launch roller coaster that takes guests on a thrilling journey through the cosmos. Another must-see attraction is the Constellation Carousel, where visitors can ride celestial lions, dragons and bears as constellations come to life on a cosmic-style carousel.

In addition to the attractions, the Celestial Park also offers unique dining experiences. The Atlantic Restaurant, located across the sparkling waters of Neptune’s Pool, offers delicious seafood and steak dishes amidst an underwater décor featuring giant glowing fish. The Universal Helios Grand Hotel completes the experience, providing a luxurious retreat for guests.
