At an event held in the city of São Paulo, Huawei brought together journalists and influencers to present its new smartwatch models. The company revealed four models that stand out for offering excellent monitoring, both in health care and in physical activity. Check out all the news about the new Huawei smartwatches right now.
Huawei Watch GT 5 and Huawei Watch 5 GT Pro

Announced globally in September this year by Huawei at an event in Barcelona, the models are quite similar. Starting with the traditional Huawei Watch GT 5, it comes in two sizes: 41 and 46 mm, in addition to having two versions (one more refined and another for those who want a more robust and sporty design). The models have a circular AMOLED screen of 1,32 or 1,43 inches, depending on the variant you choose.
The Huawei Watch 5 GT Pro comes in 42 mm and 46 mm sizes, each with a different design to suit different audiences. The smaller version has a more delicate design, which is quite luxurious, as its button resembles a precious stone, and its strap has a relief that also resembles luxury models. The screens of the more complete version measure a 1,32-inch AMOLED panel, and the second one a 1,43-inch one.

In terms of health monitoring, the models analyze more than 100 sports, from the simplest ones like walking and running, to the most complex ones, like Pro Cycling, which indicates better posture and allows the marking of start and end routes of the journey.
This is possible thanks to the TruSense sensor, which can monitor heart rate, sleep, body temperature, SpO2 (blood oxygenation), blood pressure, emotional well-being, and Stay Fit, which gives you tips on how to have a healthy routine to achieve your goals.

The 5mm Watch GT 46 Pro is available in black and silver — the black model has a rubber strap, while the silver comes with a titanium band. The design is very similar to the 5mm Watch GT 46, featuring a pointed bezel around the display for a sportier look.

This larger model also has an aerospace-grade TC4 titanium body and a sapphire crystal-protected display, while maintaining IP69K and 5ATM certification for high-pressure water resistance.
It is worth remembering that the Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro comes to the market with support for special modes for those who practice diving and golf. In golf, there are more than 15 thousand options for maps of courses around the world, with the company also promising that the GPS accuracy in this model will help users in places with more interference.
When it comes to battery life, Huawei smartwatches are impressive: the traditional version has a battery that lasts up to 7 days, while the Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro hits the market with a battery that lasts up to 14 days. The prices are:
- Huawei Watch GT 5: from R$1.499
- Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro: from R$1.999
The models can be purchased from today, in official Huawei stores on Amazon, Shopee and Mercado Livre.

Huawei Watch Ultimate

This model is not extremely new, as it was introduced to the world in April 2023. But, at yesterday's event, the new color, in a shade of sapphire green, finally arrived in Brazil. As the name suggests, it is recommended for those who practice more intense sports activities and is the direct competitor of the Apple Watch Ultra 2 e Galaxy Watch Ultra.

Sold in black, green and blue, the Huawei promises that it has above-average durability due to having a zirconium-based liquid metal case and a sapphire-protected screen, a 1,5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and an adaptive refresh rate of 1Hz to 60Hz. The official weight is 76 grams.

The model can track up to 100 sports and its highlight is its water resistance that allows it to be submerged up to 100 meters, supporting up to 4 different underwater activities. The Huawei Watch 5 Pro's Golf Pro mode and trail marking are also present in this model.
The integrated sensors are: accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, barometer, optical, depth and temperature sensors, SpO2 for blood oxygen level, heart monitor that detects the risk of atherosclerosis. There is also Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, integrated GNSS with 5 satellites and dual band.
Its battery also lasts up to 14 days with moderate use and up to 8 days with intense use of all features. Charging is done via a wireless sensor with Qi technology that allows the 530 mAh battery to be fully recharged in 65 minutes.

O Huawei Watch Ultimate will be available in Brazil from November, starting from R$4.499 in the official stores of the Chinese company Amazon, Shopee and Mercado Livre.

Huawei Watch D2

Rounding out the announcements, the Huawei Watch D2 stands out for providing even more complete health monitoring, in addition to having a rectangular screen. The model has a 1,82-inch screen and will be launched in Brazil in two colors: black and white, with an appearance reminiscent of smart bracelets and the simpler Apple Watch, and even the rotating crown on the right side is present here.
But the big highlight is its bracelet: it has an ambulatory blood pressure monitoring system, also called MAP, which in practice is an airbag that takes measurements every 30 minutes. See below:

A notification will be sent to the watch and all you have to do is place your arm close to your shoulder and stay still for a few seconds. All data can be shared with experts so that an analysis can be carried out.
Other features include sleep monitoring and over 100 physical exercises, as well as being able to check stress levels and even access skin temperature data. The model also performs electrocardiograms and can be used as a good health monitoring tool.
The battery lasts for a maximum of six days with heavy use, but if the blood pressure measurement feature is used every 30 minutes, this drops to just one day. Charging is done wirelessly.
Despite this, it will not be able to be sold in Brazil until Anvisa recognizes it as a health device. Huawei expects sales to begin in Brazil by November 2024 and it has a suggested price of R$2.799.
