Nubank comes to Google Pay for mobile payments

Customers of the “roxinho” can celebrate because, finally, the Nubank arrives at Google Pay, the digital wallet of the Google. From now on, customers of the digital bank, who use Android phones, can register their physical or virtual Nubank card in Google Pay. The function will be released gradually and will allow customers to make debit or credit purchases in physical establishments or virtual stores.  

In addition, Nubank arrives at Google Pay allowing payment by approximation (NFC). If the user's smartphone supports NFC, it will be possible to make purchases in physical stores that accept payment by approximation, using only the cell phone. In this case, just bring the unlocked smartphone closer to the machine to make the payment. Remembering that not all machines are NFC compatible, so it's good to keep an eye out. 

For payments in online stores, just look for the e-commerce by the button “Pay with Google Pay”. If the button is available, it will be possible to make payments using the Google Digital Wallet.  

Nubank arrives at Google Pay offering more protection and practicality

Nubank arrives at Google Pay and guarantees more practicality and security for customers. When registering in Google Pay, the user no longer needs to carry the card everywhere. This ends up avoiding situations such as theft or loss. 

In addition, payment by approximation offers more protection, as all information is encrypted on the cell phone and, according to Nubank, official card data is not passed on to stores, which ends up preventing fraud. It is also worth mentioning that payments are only released if the smartphone is unlocked, that is, to validate a transaction you will need to enter the customer's password or fingerprint. 

How to register Nubank card in Google Pay

Registering a Nubank card on Google Pay is very simple:

1. Install or open the app Google Pay on the cellphone;
2. In a new user, touch Register with Google Pay. Now if you already use the app, go to aba Payment and choose the option + Payment Methods;
3. Enter the card information. Then accept the terms of use and tap Continue;
4. After completing the registration, choose the option Register payment by approximation. Finally, just enter the code CVC card and finish.

How to register the card through the Nubank app

Users who do not have Google Pay installed on their smartphone can register the card through the Nubank application. If the Google Pay panel is not yet available, just wait a little longer, as the function will be released gradually. Check out how to register your purple one in Google Pay:

1. Open Nubank;
2. If the Google Pay panel is already available, click on the option register my card;
3. Choose the card you want to register and tap Continue;
4. Click again Continue when the message “Let's open Google Pay to continue registration” appears; 
5. Enter the 4-digit card password. Read the information and tap Accept; 
6. Enter a valid address and accept the terms of use;
7. Okay, the card is already registered.
