Focused on optimizing the games of the brand's users, the NVIDIA announced, this Tuesday (22), the next technology update Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS), which will occur with the arrival of the DLSS-3.5, introducing a new feature called Ray Reconstruction, promising an improvement in Ray Tracing image quality for all GeForce RTX GPUs.

According to the company, the idea is to replace denoisers manually adjusted by an AI network trained by the company's supercomputer. NVIDIA which generates higher quality pixels among the displayed rays. And best of all: without losing data regarding colors, scale increases and global illumination, as with the denoisers.
According to the company, this update focuses on improvements in visual experiences. Increases in fps will even be seen, but it will be the optimization of ray tracing effects that will win the spotlight. In addition to creating higher resolution frames from a lower resolution, version 3.5 also promises to further increase the performance of NVIDIA GeForce RTX cards.
The first games to support this technology will be:
- Alan wake 2, which will be released in October with DLSS 3.5, Full Ray Tracing and Reflex;
- Cyberpunk 2077 e Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, available in September with DLSS 3.5, Full Ray Tracing and Reflex;
- Portal with RTX, which will receive the update to DLSS 3.5 this semester;
- DLSS 3.5 will also come to GeForce NOW when Alan wake 2 e Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty are released in the cloud, which will occur on the same day as the other platforms. Members will also be able to test the DLSS 3.5 update for Portal with RTX straight from the cloud.
In addition to games, DLSS 3.5 also improves image quality in real-time 3D authoring applications. Ray Reconstruction will be included in upcoming releases of d5 render, Chaos Vantage e NVIDIA OMNIVERSE.
DLSS 3.5 arrives by the end of the year

According to the company, the new version of Deep Learning Super Sampling will arrive in the fall. In other words, the premiere is scheduled between September and November of this year. The company is yet to release more details before launch.
