NVIDIA announces Artificial Intelligence solutions to Brazil

In the event NVIDIA PRESS DAY, which took place last Wednesday (27), the NVIDIA presented for the first time in Brazil some solutions developed for the high computational demand that Artificial Intelligence demands.

NVIDIA, which has been operating in the area of ​​high performance computing, is now a company dedicated to working with modern artificial intelligence. working close to research centers (“research centers”, literally translated), it has allowed large companies to put new AI functions into their services.

To meet this demand, the company is bringing together four main solutions that will help startups and companies to develop new businesses.

NVIDIA DGX STATION

The company brings its family of supercomputers to Brazil NVIDIA DGX. It is a platform equipped with 4 NVIDIA TESLA V100 GPUs, optimized for deep learning with computing power equivalent to 4 server racks in a workstation. These servers are essential for analyzing a large amount of data generated by various applications.

Today, 70% of medical imaging searches are based on deep learning and these servers facilitate, for example, the work of radiologists who need to analyze several images to obtain a faster diagnosis, since the IA can be taught to detect abnormalities in radiology and show the doctor which cases need attention most quickly.

The server is available through company partners such as Accept, decatron, Risk Technology e Atos.

jetson nano

O jetson nano is an Artificial Intelligence minicomputer that enables the creation of millions of intelligent systems. The small and powerful computer arrives compatible with the platform CUDA-X, offering 472 GFLOPS computing performance with high energy efficiency, consuming less than 5 Watts.

O jetson nano has a development kit that brings power at low cost, enabling developers, inventors and students to develop artificial intelligence projects that were not possible before and take these ideas to another level.

The goal is for the platform to be used in mobile robots, drones, digital assistants, automated devices, facial recognition through cameras and many others.

For this, the device has support for the system Linux, various peripherals and accessories. Their system also has tutorials to help developers get up to speed with Artificial Intelligence more quickly. O jetson nano will be available in Brazil only in the second half of 2019.

NVIDIA Quadro RTX 4000

A NVIDIA Quadro RTX 4000 is aimed at designers and artists. It allows the ability to interact with complex models and scenes with Ray Tracing to speed up the production process through IA and render realistic images.

Via the application GauCan, the user can sketch simple geometric shapes that, through Artificial Intelligence, will be rendered in automatic images, creating realistic landscapes. All this is possible through a neural network trained with millions of images.

The technology had been presented first hand by the NVIDIA GTC 2019 (a company event that takes place annually in California), and now arrives in Brazil, three months later.

NVIDIA EGX

A NVIDIA EGX is an accelerated computing platform equipped with NVIDIA Tesla T4 GPU, created to meet the demand of a large data processing through execution of IA call of edge computing, thus carrying out the entire process locally and then sending them to the cloud.

The technology will be distributed globally through global enterprise computing providers such as ATOS, Cisco, Dell EMC, Fujitsu, Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Lenovo.
