The Chosen One: Netflix's New Brazilian Series Will Be a Supernatural Thriller

Have you ever heard of the Mexican series Nino Santo? Made in 2011, the television program served as inspiration for the next Brazilian production of Netflix: The chosen. The original series is about a group of three doctors who go to southern Mexico to vaccinate people in the region, after a virus outbreak. However, the village is extremely reluctant to visit and even the village doctor does not want to allow vaccination. Even so, the doctors are not shaken and continue on their journey. This is where a series of mysterious events begins.
