The measure went into effect this Wednesday (27/2) and is part of a measure by the Anatel (National Telecommunications Agency) to try to improve the quality of service in the country.

For those who pay the call for time, only a charge will be made with the sum of the times of all successive calls. who pays fixed value per call, successive calls will be considered one and only the first will be charged.

The rule applies to customers of all operators in mobile-to-mobile or mobile-to-landline calls. There is no limit for the call to be redone, as long as the consumer resumes contact between the same numbers within a period of up to 2 minutes.

"This case is recurring and this is not a benefit, it is the correct way to not harm the consumer", said David Passada, attorney at protest.
