State of Fury presents the stories of five women whose lives intersect at a moment of rupture. In a contemporary context, each faces situations such as manipulation, oppression, and deception, being pushed to their limits until they make extreme decisions. The acts of revenge they commit ultimately generate unexpected consequences, connecting their stories in a chain of events. Batman Ninja vs Yakuza League (03/07)

Batman Ninja vs Yakuza League is an animated film that continues the Japanese reimagining of the Dark Knight universe. Called Hinomoto, this new region is controlled by the Yakuza—figures with powers reminiscent of former Justice League members, now transformed and devoid of any trace of humanity. To deal with this threat, Batman returns to feudal Japan, where he finds a landscape dominated by factional wars and unbridled violence. 1992 Set during the protests in Los Angeles following the Rodney King verdict, the film follows two intersecting stories amidst the chaos. On one side, Mercer tries to rebuild his relationship with his son while dealing with the social and emotional impact of the moment. On the other, a father and son take advantage of the chaos in the streets to carry out a robbery at a factory where Mercer works, searching for catalysts containing valuable materials. As the city descends into violence, the encounter between these two families transforms the situation into a fight for survival, where each decision could determine who escapes the unfolding tragedy.

Sinners follows Smoke and Stack, twin brothers played by Michael B. Jordan, who return to their hometown intent on starting over after a turbulent past. However, an evil presence begins to manifest, exposing old traumas and endangering not only them but the entire local population. As they confront this evil, legends and myths emerge that hint at a deeper, more ancient threat. The plot blends family drama with supernatural elements, exploring the bond between the brothers, the weight of memory, and the struggle for survival in an environment dominated by fear. Back to the Sea follows Rona, a 29-year-old woman who returns to the Orkney Islands, Scotland, after spending ten years in London. Recovering and dealing with loneliness, she seeks to find balance amidst the landscape where she grew up. The islands' natural environment—marked by intense winds and icy seas—becomes part of her internal process of coping and healing. The plot explores Rona's daily struggle to deal with difficult memories, while trying to reconnect with her origins and rebuild her identity. 

An Almost Perfect Uncle (11/07)

An Almost Perfect Uncle revolves around Tony, a con artist who makes a living from small tricks and disguises, always with the help of his mother, Cecília. After being evicted, the two turn to Angela, Cecília's estranged daughter, who agrees to take them in. When Angela receives a promotion and has to travel for work, she ends up leaving her three children in the care of an uncle they barely know. The forced coexistence between Tony and the children triggers a series of chaotic situations, in which he must improvise to maintain control. Throughout the story, their relationship transforms, gradually revealing how responsibilities can affect even the most unlikely guardians.

Madame Durocher (18/07)

Madame Durocher portrays the trajectory of Marie Josephine Mathilde Durocher, the first woman to receive the title of midwife in Brazil and to join the Imperial Academy of Medicine in the 1816th century. The story begins in XNUMX, when she arrived in Brazil as a child with her mother, a French dressmaker. After facing personal losses, including the death of her mother and husband, Marie decided to learn the practice of childbirth. Her path led her to the medical school in Rio de Janeiro, where she graduated in a male-dominated field. The biopic follows her education, the challenges she faced, and the impact of her presence in professional spaces previously inaccessible to women.

Survival Mission (18/07)

Survival Mission follows Tom Harris, a secret agent operating in Afghanistan whose identity is exposed during a mission. Surrounded by enemies and without immediate support, he must cross vast hostile territory to a rescue base in Kandahar. Relying only on the help of his local interpreter, Harris faces pursuit from elite forces and international spies determined to prevent his escape. Possessed Blood begins with the death of a young woman in an isolated religious community in the mountains. The arrival follows Dr. Louise Banks, a linguist summoned by the military to interpret signals left by interplanetary beings on Earth. Her task is to understand the message and determine whether the aliens' presence poses a danger to humanity. As she progresses with the translation, Louise encounters answers that could affect not only her life but also the future of the planet. Shadows of a Murder (25/07)

Shadows of a Crime follows private investigator Philip Marlowe, whose practice is struggling until Clare Cavendish arrives. She asks for help finding Nico Peterson, her lover who has disappeared without a trace. Marlowe accepts the case, attracted to his client, and soon becomes embroiled in a search that leads him to confront a wealthy and influential family willing to do anything to protect their secrets. Until Dawn: Night of Terror (25/07)

Recently released in theaters, Until Dawn: Night of Terror is a film inspired by the video game of the same name, which follows a group of teenage friends on a trip to a secluded ski resort on Blackwood Mountain in Canada. The group returns a year after the disappearance of two twin sisters who were part of their group. During the weekend, a serial killer begins stalking the young people, putting their lives in danger. The narrative follows the style of the slasher horror genre, with scenes that explore the group's tension and fear. The film attempts to recreate the feeling of the original game, in which the audience follows the consequences of the characters' decisions.

Basic Sanitation (25/07)

Basic sanitation shows the residents of Linha Cristal, a village in the Serra Gaúcha region, trying to address the lack of sanitation. To build a septic tank, they form a committee to ask the local city hall for help. The secretary recognizes the need but informs them that there is no funding available until the end of the year. On the other hand, the city hall has almost R$10 earmarked for the production of a video, a resource that will be lost if not used. Thus, the idea arises of creating a fictional film about the construction of the septic tank, to free up the funds and carry out the work.

Among Max's new features is the special Robot Chicken: A Special Presentation, an episode that takes the character Robot Chicken on an exploration of the world of reality TV. During his journey, he encounters parodies of well-known shows like 90 Day Fiancé, Shark Week e Dropped and peeled, among others from Discovery, TLC, and Food Network. Created by Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, the special blends humor and cultural critique, using stop-motion animation to revisit these popular formats. The Murder of Actor Rafael Miguel (July 31)

The Murder of Actor Rafael Miguel is a three-episode documentary series that addresses the crime that took the lives of actor Rafael Miguel and his parents in 2019, in São Paulo. Known for his role in the Brazilian version of chiquititasRafael was killed along with his family after disagreements related to his relationship with Isabela Tibcherani. The prime suspect is Paulo Cupertino, Isabela's father, who was sentenced to 98 years in prison in 2025. The series features never-before-seen interviews, including with Isabela, and details of the investigation and trials. The series also explores the context of the relationship between Isabela and Cupertino, highlighting aspects of violence and control, which helped to understand the motives behind the crime and its social impact.
