Scream 6: film set in New York gets 1st teaser

After five stories of ghostface terrorizing (and murdering) residents of the fictional town of woodsboro, California, the new movie Panic 6 will have the city of New York as the setting for its story. The first teaser of the production was revealed today and the film's premiere in Brazil is scheduled for March 09, 2023. Check it out:

With a short phrase of “In a city of millions, hear you scream”, the first victim of the killer is shown in the video of just one minute, and this must be just one of the characters who will lose their life during the film.

What is the cast of the new film?

Famous characters from the franchise Panic are more than confirmed in the new film. In addition to Jenna Ortega which is on the rise because of his great work in Wandinha, Netflix series, the senior Courtney Cox returns to Panic 6. Other names confirmed in the cast are Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown e Mason Gooding, who were in the 2022 film.

It is important to remember that Panic 5 it was considered an homage, sequel to the fourth film, and reboot of the third film. The protagonist of the fourth film, Hayden Panettiere, will also be back as Kirby Reed. The actors Samara Weaving, Dermot Mulroney, Tony Revolori and Josh Segarra are part of the team that debuts in the franchise.

If you missed character Sydney Prescott, know that the actress Neve Campbell was not happy with the offer to act in Panic 6🇧🇷 She mentioned that according to what it represents for the franchise that has more than 25 years of existence, it deserved to win more. Paramount Pictures then opted to create a story without Sidney Prescott.

I didn't feel what was being offered matched the value I bring to this franchise and have brought to this franchise for 25 years. And as a woman in this business, I think it's really important for us to be valued and to strive to be valued.
