Black Panther: Wakanda Forever gets 1st official trailer

As one of the main launches of the last quarter of 2022, the Marvel finally released the first trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, sequel to the 2018 film that earned a Best Picture nomination for the house of heroes at the Oscars.

In addition to the grief in facing the death of the King T'challa, due to the death of the actor Chadwick Boseman in December 2020, it is also possible to follow the city of Wakanda being invaded by King Namor. Watch it right now:

What is the plot of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever?

In addition to being used as a kind of cloak passage for the Black Panther, the new film, which opens in November 10th, 2022, will tell the challenges of the African country in the midst of pressure from other countries for the sharing of Vibranium to happen. This follows the events of the first film, as in the post-credits scene, T'challa, announced that Wakanda would be sharing its technologies with the rest of the world.

But there is much more: the wakanda forever will also feature the introduction of the mutant Namor and the kingdom of talocan. The official trailer shows that the hometown of T'challa will go to war with the kingdom of Namor, but the reasons are still unclear.

Another special participation is that of Riri Williams, which in comics is the iron heart /Iron heart. She will be introduced during the film and after that, her story will be told more closely in a series for Disney+ that is scheduled for release in late 2023. The character will be played by Dominique thorne.

Familiar names from the first film return for the sequel: Call Out, like Okoye, Winston duke like M'Baku, Lupita Nyong'o like Nakia, Florence Casumba like Ayo, Angela Bassett like Ramona and martin freeman as CIA agent Everett Ross, were seen in the new preview.

Who should take on the mantle of Black Panther?

At this point in the MCU, it's almost certain that Shuri, younger sister of King T'Challa, must be the next Black Panther. Kevin Feige, President of marvel studios, already stated in interviews that the house of heroes has no plans to make a change of actor or recreate movements of Chadwick Boseman in CGI. At the end of the official trailer and also in the teaser released in July, it is possible to see a person with the new cloak, but who is behind the mask is a mystery that has been kept for the film's premiere. It remains for us to wait for about another month until the reveal finally happens.
