a few days ago we we built a machine with the specs of the PS5, but the time has come to build a PC with the settings of the Xbox Series X and also the PlayStation 5. However, we will not be focusing on recommending components that are similar to those used on consoles, but rather creating a PC with enough performance to run games in 4K at 60 frames.
Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5

the console of Microsoft is considered the most powerful of the new generation, bringing a GPU with 12 teraflops of firepower based on AMD's RDNA2 micro-architecture, in addition to 16 GB of shared RAM for the system and a processor also from AMD, with eight cores. at 3.8Ghz
On the other hand, the PlayStation 5 arrives with a graphics chip with 10 teraflops, also based on RDNA2. Its processor is an AMD octa-core at 3.5Ghz, and it comes with 16GB of RAM divided for the CPU and GPU.
For us, what matters is building a PC with the Xbox Series X and PS5 configurations, and for that we will have to invest a lot.
Motherboard and Processor
Again we will use the ASUS TUF Gaming X570-PLUS/BR (R$1.600), a high-performance model that supports the fourth generation of NMVE M.2 SSDs. The choice of mainboard is directly related to your processor, a AMD Ryzen 7 3800X (R$2.701), which has plenty of performance to handle 4K games.

Another option would be a more affordable CPU, like the AMD Ryzen 5 3600X (R$ 1.801), an intermediate model cheaper than its bigger brother. For higher resolutions it is the video card that holds most of the performance, leaving the processors with a certain slack. Therefore, the difference between a high-end and a mid-end is usually no more than 5%. However, as we will already spend a lot on the GPU, it is worth using more robust processors for various applications.
Storage and RAM
If in our first article we used a 1TB NVME SSD, here our focus will go to a Crucial 2TB M.1 SSD more affordable, which can usually be found for R$ 1.301. Now, speaking of RAM memory, there is also no escaping much: we will use two 8 GB 3200 Mhz sticks from the Crucial Ballistix, totaling 16 GB, which is enough to handle higher resolutions.

Video card
Here's where we've prepared the ground well, it's time to design the star of any machine: the video card. And to mount our PC with the settings of the Xbox Series X e PlayStation 5 we will use the recent NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080, the most powerful GPU on the market, which, although not yet being marketed in Brazil, will soon reach national stores for a suggested price of R$5.500, but it is possible that the value in large retail stores will rise to something in the region of R$6.000 , as has happened in the past due to the high amount of taxes and inflation.

A RTX 3080 is the definitive card to run games in 4K and at 60 frames per second, mainly thanks to the DSLL 2.0, which manages to give a gigantic additional frame to your gameplay and without losing any quality. Another highlight goes to Ray Tracing, a technology that increases the immersion of games by creating realistic lighting effects, shadows, etc.
Source and Cabinet
Finally, to feed all this super beefy system we need an equally powerful source, so our chosen one is a model of the 850W EVGA with the 80 plus bronze efficiency seal, usually found for R$800.
To bring all these components together we chose the beautiful Corsair Carbide 275R, a respectable cabinet that will put all your pieces together very well. The model costs around R$ 600.

Peripherals

As with our last text, we will keep the same performances because they are high quality pieces and will certainly not let you down. For the mouse and keyboard combo we recommend the Logitech G502 Hero (R$ 350) and the HyperX Alloy Origins (BRL 759). As for the headset, the chosen one is the HyperX Cloud Revolver WILL, in the amount of R$ 730.
Conclusion
Enquanto or Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 arrive, in their most expensive versions, for R$ 4.999, our super PC to play in 4K and at 60 frames costs something around R$ 14.000, a price just above the 13 thousand evidenced in the last article. If we take into account that we went up from a GeForce RTX 2070 Super to a GeForce RTX 3080 and our performance practically doubles without reaching a thousand reais difference, the value is not as scary as it seems, but it is still an investment for few.
