Apple's plans for the iPhone until 2027 have been leaked

It's April 2023 and we have a few months to wait until the long-awaited next wave of devices from Apple which should happen in September of this year. Many speculations arrive on the internet, mainly about the launches in the recurring year, but apparently there was an even bigger leak: Apple's plans for the line iPhone until the year of 2027. That is, information from this year's iPhones and four years from now was exposed. Just take a look!

What's on the next iPhones?

O showmetech already revealed what will possibly come in the iPhone 15 Pro, one of the models of the new line of smartphones from Apple for this year. But for fans of the brand, just the next launch is not enough, and if you are also curious to know what the company plans for its next smartphones, Ross Young, from the vehicle DSCC, brought some information about what we can expect at least until 2027.

Ross young was one of the first to reveal that the iPhone 14 Pro would come with the notch in pill format, while the entry models would keep the notch seen previously. Now the publication says that the next devices will have sensors that will be under the screen and some features seen in Pro models, such as the Always On Screen (Always-On Display) And ProMotion, for all models that will be released in the future. In case there is no change in the plans, check out what we can expect for the line of iPhone Pro in this and future years:

• 2023: iPhone with the same ball and pill notch;
• 2024: iPhone with the same ball and pill notch;
• 2025: iPhone with Face ID recognition under the screen and a ball — or “hole” — at the top;
• 2026: iPhone with Face ID recognition under the screen and a ball — or “hole” — at the top;
• 2027: iPhone with Face ID recognition and camera, both under the screen.

That is, we will see iPhones similar to the 14 Pro model at least until 2024 and only in 2025 – with the possible line iPhone 17 Pro — we're going to see some significant change in that top design and presentation part. The inclusion of sensors for Face ID under the screen should make the Dynamic Island a little smaller than we currently see. With that said, the possible iPhone 19 Pro will arrive with a completely new remodel, bringing a device that will have all the sensors under the screen.

Entry model plans

If the Pro models are the first to receive new features, the successors of the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus should receive the features of the most advanced devices over the years, as follows:

• 2023: iPhone with ball and pill notch;
• 2024: iPhone with ball and pill notch;
• 2025: iPhone with ball and pill notch with Always On Screen and Promotion features;
• 2026: iPhone with ball and pill notch with Always On Screen and Promotion features;
• 2027: iPhone with under-display Face ID and Always On Display and Promotion features.

The plans for the entry and intermediate models indicate that the resources ProMotion and Always On Screen will only arrive in 2025 — in a possible iPhone 17. Two years later, in 2027, the Face ID should be included to stay under the screen, while Pro models will receive exclusive technologies for the screen. For those users who never know when to buy a new model or change their current one, with these forecasts, it's easier to program yourself to know exactly the best time to make your purchase.
