Pokemon go: gyms are closed indefinitely; understand!
Time to say goodbye to Pokémon GO gyms

It seems that even in the virtual world it will not be possible to train in the gym. Jokes aside, the Niantic announced that gyms de Pokémon GO would be off the air after the start of the Winter/Summer Solstice event. No sooner said than done. This Monday (19), the gyms will be remodeled and will be offline indefinitely.

This novelty is part of Celebrating One Year of Pokémon GO Launch, worldwide success for smartphones. Since the app became available to Android and iOS users, one of the biggest requests was PvP battles, that is, player against player.

Since arrived in the US in July 2016, the game has already brought news such as pokemon radar, new items, festivals and recently the second generation of little monsters, adding more than 80 creatures. Now, close to completing one year of life, the Niantic should bring the legendary Pokémon from the Kanto region (Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres), plus a new PvP mode and collaborative gyms.

As part of the celebrations, the gyms enter into “renovation” to change the dynamics of the game. For most users, and I include myself in this, which makes the player lose the will to play Pokémon GO is the lack of dynamics in the gyms, since only very strong Pokémon are there, many of which are from cheaters (spreading the hate). Finally, this will change.

Pokemon GO still has a long way to go

Fever for a few months, the game no longer has the strength it once had. Whether because of the lack of news or Augmented Reality not being funny, this is finally going to change. Apple announced at WWDC 2017, its annual developer fair, which will bring AR solutions for iPhone and games like Pokémon GO will become even more real.

On the other hand, with the reformulation of the gyms, the application will still need to exchange Pokémon between users and, as always, more Pokémon to capture.

Niantic has been working harder and harder to ban those who cheat the game, in addition to trying to bring a more dynamic environment of Pokémon in the real world.
