Showmetech signs strategic partnerships and reaches 11 million page views

In an increasingly connected world, there are countless sources of information. Therefore, it is increasingly important to filter content in search of what is really relevant and reliable. This is the proposal of showmetech: bring to internet users what is most important in the world of technology in a clear, fast and fun way!

For every fifteen Brazilians who use the internet*, at least one has been through the showmetech looking for news about smartphones, TVs, video games, computers and all kinds of gadgets. Founded by a group of friends in 2009, the blog has become professional and has become a reference for those who want to know more about the latest in devices, learn about the qualities and defects of products in our rigorous tests or even take advantage of the traditional lists with suggestions for applications and games.

We are experts at scouring the internet content in search of relevant news for those who want to stay well informed. Today we have a team of 50 authors from all regions of the country and abroad. They are journalists, engineers, lawyers and advertisers who are passionate about technology.

In October 2013, the SMT, as it is affectionately called, has reached the important milestone of 11 million page views and 5,5 million unique visitors. The site's audience has doubled in just 12 months and is already reaching a monthly average of 710 thousand page views. To have an idea of ​​the evolution, it took 44 weeks to reach the first million pages visited against less than 7 weeks to jump from 9 to 10 million!

Band and UOL partnerships:

O showmetech entered into a partnership with the Bandeirantes Communication Group to publicize the blog's news in 2011. It worked so well, that the partnership was expanded and today we are responsible for the technology editor of the BAND Portal. Every day, our main news is highlighted in the main page of the portal, guaranteeing greater visibility to the content produced by SMT.

The partnership unites the tradition and credibility of journalism in the Bandeirantes Group with the young and modern language of the team at showmetech.

O showmetech also became part of the list of official partners of the Technology in 2013. This is another channel for disseminating our news with the main content portal in Brazil that attracts 7 out of 10 Brazilian internet users.

Awards:

Recognition of the work of SMT came through the Top Blog Award. In 2010 and 2012, the showmetech was elected by the popular jury as one of the 3 best technology blogs in the country.

O Top Blog is a project designed to recognize and reward, through popular (popular jury) and academic (academic jury) voting, the most popular Brazilian blogs that have most of their content focused on the Brazilian public, with the best technical presentation in their respective categories .

New projects:

To celebrate the 10 million page views, we are investing in new features for the coming months. We are going to expand our video channel with exclusive content and tutorials with tips to boost your smartphone or solve simple problems like configuring the internet on your devices.

We will also reinforce our team for product testing, always following a rigorous list of requirements that must be evaluated so that our readers can choose their new smartphone, the TV for the living room at home or the notebook for work or college.

Agility in publishing news, credibility in evaluating products and a filter to select only what really matters! That's how the showmetech has been gaining more and more recognition and audience. Our goal is to expand our presence on social networks and reach the mark of 1 million monthly page views in 2014.
