you use the One UI 4.1 and has been experiencing slowness problems after activating the feature RAMPlus, which was precisely intended to deliver more performance to your Galaxy smartphone? Don't feel alone, as users of different cell phones in Samsung are reporting performance degradation after the update.
A Samsung has not yet publicly commented on what happened, but the first case took place in May 2022 and tech forums around the world are recommending that everyone stop using RAM Plus until further notice. Understand the case right now.
The RAM Plus problem
Users of different cell lines from Samsung started experiencing a big problem as soon as they received the update from One UI 4.1, based on Android 12.
Before that, let's explain the RAMPlus: as one of the most interesting features of Google's operating system, this is the configuration that basically uses a part of the phone's internal storage to deliver more performance.

The news was welcomed by many people for one simple reason: who wouldn't want to have more fluidity in everyday activities? However, this may not occur for those who own a model manufactured by Samsung.
The first report that flagged the problem was made in May 2022, by the user Mandrei95 on Reddit; he owns one Galaxy A52 which originally has 6 GB of RAM, and after receiving the update released from September 2021, it began to notice day-to-day slowdowns.
Another Reddit post by CGGamer in July 2022 indicates that the problem does not only affect models with a processor Exynos, manufactured by Samsung. CGGamer owns one Galaxy S21 with chipset Snapdragon 888 and also claims that RAM Plus is doing the reverse process: instead of giving more power in everyday life, everything is slower than before. He reports that “A few hours later, the animations started to go out of pattern, and I always have to go to the DeviceCare and optimize the phone so everything goes back to normal.”

Owners of Galaxy S22, released in early 2022, also report that the slowness problems occur in the latest update of the best line of cell phones from Samsung. The most plausible explanation for the problem is that applications running in virtual RAM find it difficult to function. The best thing to do is to leave everything in the “traditional” RAM memory, which is faster and was developed just for this task.
Decreasing slowdowns on Samsung phones
If you have a company smartphone that currently runs One UI 4.1, it is possible to decrease the amount of RAM Plus and get back a part of the performance it had before the update was released. Shall we go step by step?
Step 1: just access the Settings and then click on Device and battery support. enter option Memory, and when scrolling, you will see the section RAMPlus.

Step 2: You will likely be using more than 2GB to deliver higher performance on a day to day basis. Then, check the lowest option and restart your smartphone for the settings to take effect.

Users One UI 5 can already disable the feature completely, but this version of the operating system is not yet released for mobile phone owners Samsung de todo o mundo.
A command can be done through the software ADB (Android Debug Bridge), but you put your smartphone at risk due to it being too technical and any unknowing changes can cause other features to malfunction. So it's worth waiting for an update from the Samsung and/or the release of the new version so that the RAMPlus be completely deactivated in complete safety.
