Knights of the Zodiac Remake Announced by Netflix

Like Dragon Ball, Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh, Knights of the Zodiac marked a generation of children who followed Seiya's story to free the goddess Athena.

In this remake, the producer will be Eugene Son, who was responsible for the script for the Ultimate Spider-Man and Ben 10 series. The story must take place with the bronze knights, in Galactic War, taking the classic series well and reaching the silver knights.

The series, confirmed for now for a season, will have 12 episodes (as well as the 12 knights and the 12 signs) with duration of 30 minutes each. The remake, as you can see in the poster, should have more mature and modern traits, but still bringing nostalgia for what the original series was.

In addition to revisiting the series, the question remains whether the design will use the original openingl “Pegasus Fantasy”, which is a classic of cartoon songs. If you “make the cosmos of your heart lift up”, open the remake of Knights of the Zodiac, probably the series will be an even bigger pop.

The Knights is athe Japanese manga series that began publication in 1986 and gained prominence when it was released in France in 1998. It was only in 2003 that the cartoon was dubbed into English. The story tells the journey of Saint Seiya, a knight who wears an armor of the Pegasus constellation and aims to defend the reincarnation of the Greek goddess Athena in her battle against other gods of Olympus or other mythologies that intend to dominate the Earth.

The anime that completes next year 32 years there's going to be quite a celebration if the Netflix series debuts in 2018. In the meantime, we're excited for what's to come.
