The kit includes the case, all the necessary screws for assembly, some cable ties for cable management, and additional accessories for better component placement in the machine. Now, enough talk, let's get to our impressions!

side covers

The covers are extremely easy to remove, mainly because of the screws with a type of grip / thread that come with the kit and do not need keys to detach them from the cover. The left cover has a cut, which is filled with smoked acrylic plastic. The transparency is partial, but you can easily see the components inside the case.

Pig iron

Following the trend of modern cabinets, the space reserved for the power supply is at the bottom of the structure. This is a good thing, as overhead fonts can warp the case over time (especially if you're using a large font). The source is placed on small circles of rubberized material, avoiding direct contact with the metal. Underneath these rubbers, the metal is perforated, providing an extra heat output for modern power supplies with a cooler at the bottom. Just don't forget that the case doesn't come with the power supply, ok? Source - xtrike v9

Motherboard

Here, the pattern is similar to other cases in the category. Just screw it. The highlight is the side plates that serve as an output for PCI Express components or the like. We have the same threaded bolt pattern as the side covers, making it easy to remove and insert components. Unlike many cases (especially the simpler ones) that require the breaking and permanent removal of the plates, the X Trike V9 allows you to remove and replace them whenever you want, thus avoiding holes in the back of the machine in case removal of plates is necessary. some piece. HDs and Drives

The case offers a locking system, eliminating the need for traditional screws. But after several (unsuccessful) attempts to lock the hard drive in the bay, I gave up and screwed it in. We contacted the company's support team requesting further instructions. I will update the post when I receive a response. There are also three additional "cart"-style bays on the bottom, allowing for easy insertion and removal of HDDs and SSDs. There's no shortage of space for hard drives in the V9. fans and LEDs

One of the V9's strengths. The case comes with three fans: the first, matte green, is located at the rear and has no speed or intensity control. The other two are transparent – slightly mirrored – and are located at the front. These have beautiful LED lighting (in green) that adds charm to the case (especially when reducing ambient light). In addition to this, there's also a physical button on the front to control the rotation speed: fast or slow. For those looking for a case with a distinctive (and well-ventilated) look, the V9 is definitely an interesting option. The case also supports four additional fans – two at the top, one on the left side, and one at the bottom. Totaling 7 fans. Fans and LEDs - xtrike v9 - showmetech

Front Connections / Buttons

The case has on the top front, two USB 2.0 ports (one of which is also compatible with USB 3.0) and headphone and microphone ports. The inlets are well positioned and have a protective rubber, preventing them from being exposed to dust. The buttons are the on/off, reset, ejector (to open the DVD drive tray) and the aforementioned fan speed control button. I found them all very comfortable.

Internal space

I put together a kit with standard size components and everything worked fine. The biggest component, the Radeon R9 270x graphics card, was reasonably snug in the case, without leaving a lot of space left over. Despite this, the other components and wires were well arranged. If your setup has very large components, it's worth looking at the length and width specifications.

Visual / Design

The overall look of the case is quite satisfactory. Users who like aggressive visuals (cough cough gamers cough cough) will really like the design of V9. Besides, of course, the LEDs and the smoked side. Even so, the machine maintains an air of sobriety – which creates a certain balance and can please even those who like more discreet cabinets.

Resistance

The V9 does not appear to be fragile. The construction is firm and does not give the impression that it will bend over time. The “feet” keeps it very stable on the table and reduces the absorption of impacts applied to it (for example, during frantic typing on the keyboard). Stability, in my opinion, is a big differentiator – something that was even more evident due to the problems I had with my old cabinet (which wobbled all the time).

Verdict

If you want to build a robust machine with a bold look, the Xtrike V9 It's one of the best options in the "cases up to R$300" category. The number of features, ease of handling the tower for future maintenance, and the internal space make it well worth it. With the suggested price of R$280, it is possible to purchase it in physical stores and online.
