Design

O Samsung Wind Free Connect it has a modern look and is divided into two parts. The first is the piece that stays inside the environment, made of white plastic, with a frontal display, traditional air outlet and the elegant little holes of the WindFree function, which let the air pass without making wind.

The second is the cooling machine, which is installed outside the house or apartment. Both are connected by 220V electricity cables (there are also Bivolt models) and air piping for collection and exhaustion. There is also a drain for water.

It is worth remembering that the model not only cools, but also heats the air. It can be an excellent option for you to leave that portable heater aside.

Self Clean and Freeze Wash

If activated, this function will automatically clean every time you turn off the air conditioning, removing dust and moisture. Just press the off button and a countdown will indicate the start of the cleaning process. At the end of it (it takes a few minutes), the device will be completely turned off.

And when activating the Freeze Wash, the air conditioner freezes 90% of the bacteria present inside it.

Good Sleep Mode

In it, you can control the temperature, activate the WindFree mode, choose between heating, cooling (cooling), dehumidification, purification or even leave it on automatic, where you choose the temperature and the air conditioning is in charge of maintaining it. .

You can also control the speed and direction of ventilation, schedule operating hours, activate economy mode, night mode and even smart options, such as starting the air conditioning a little before you arrive home, automatically, when the cell phone's GPS detects it. that you are close. Oh, and it also alerts you if you left the house and forgot the air conditioning on, giving you the option to turn it off remotely.

On hot days, it's very practical to know that you can already turn on the cold air just before arriving home, to find everything very comfortable.

Control with Google and Alexa

But the function that I liked the most was the control with Google Assistant ou Alexa. You can turn the air conditioning on or off in each room, just by speaking “Hey Google/Alexa, turn off the air conditioning in the bedroom”, for example.

The design was also very pleasing, with a discreet and modern appearance. But, well, Samsung could sell it in other colors too, right? Other companies have options in black or chrome, which also look very nice.

Therefore, we recommend (very!) the purchase, especially if you are already used to Samsung's product ecosystem.
