Right off the bat, the Finfine Ampligame A8 surprises for being a complete kit, coming not only with the microphone, but also with a Shock mounts, a type of base for the device that reduces the capture of vibrations from the environment – ​​for example, if I tap my table lightly while recording something, the accessory causes a total decrease in the capture of the impact, improving the sound quality and decreasing possible noises coming from this type of situation.

The package also comes with a simple manual and the USB cable for PC connection – in the end, that's all you need to start using the device.

Speaking of the look of the device itself, it is what we call a condenser microphone, resembling a capsule. It has a size that is not exactly discreet, but that does not interfere with the organization of the table, and on its sides it has RGB lighting that highlights the device in the camera during a transmission or recording, and that can be changed from a button located on the back. from the microphone. 

On the upper part of the device, we have a silicone surface that is sensitive to touch and allows, from handling with a finger, to open or close the microphone capture. Visually, the operating indicator of this function is shown through a simple green (when open) and red (when closed) LED, discreet enough not to appear in video captures in which the device is framed.

The result is good, if not excellent, voice quality – there is still some noticeable pollution in the raw files coming from recordings made with the mic, but nothing that makes anything uncomfortable to the ears – nor that it cannot be easily removed by an editor in the case of recording a podcast.

At the same time, the high pickup sensitivity allows microphone users to place it in different positions to capture audio – but the general recommendation is still to place it right under your face, for the best possible sound quality.

But just detailing the experience is not enough, right? It's best that you listen to the microphone's sound quality for yourself.
