REVIEW: Samsung Jet 65 Pet Vacuum Cleaner is versatile and easy to use

A good vacuum cleaner is essential to ensure a thorough cleaning of the house. A Samsung today offers a range of options, mainly in models muzzle, that is, the little robots that go around the house cleaning everything intelligently.

However, the line of upright vacuum cleaners also presents very strong options from the brand. That's where the Jet 65 Pet comes into action, full of accessories and can be used without any wires. I just think that the information about what each of the tools does could be a little clearer: when I opened the box, I was surprised by the amount of things, and understanding what each one does took a while. Considering it's a vacuum cleaner, I think the first impression should be a little more to the point in that sense. 

Finally, the assembly, the fitting of the pieces and everything that involves this puzzle works perfectly. We always have an indicator button, whether to remove the battery or to remove an accessory.

• Extension adapter for corners and gaps: As the name suggests, this is a tool for cleaning the corners that are most difficult to reach in a conventional way. It's one of my favorites and a vacuum cleaner classic. It can also be used in conjunction with the tube, creating a super cable to reach even more difficult places. 

• Pet Tool: Tool created and designed to clean animal hair. Very useful for use on beds, sofas or any other similar surface. I admit that I tried using it on clothes to remove excess hair and it didn't work because I pulled it in a very ignorant way, so be careful when using it.

• Combination Adapter: Perfect for cleaning surfaces such as tables and sofas thanks to the great suction power. In short, it's the tool you'll want to use where you ate snacks and left a nice trail. Something cool about this tool is that it has a button to extend the tip and have a greater reach.

• Wall support: A base to place the vacuum cleaner and some tools, making it easier to store it. This is where we also fit your charger and battery. It works in two ways. As a wall support, you need to drill two holes in the wall and place the included anchors, in addition to leaving the support 113cm from the floor. In my case, I chose to use it as a conventional charger. To do this, you need to turn the little foot until it becomes a base and that's it, just connect the charger to the socket. It's interesting that regardless of how you use it, the little foot works as a place to store your Combination Adapter and Extension adapter for corners and gaps.

One problem I faced with this tool is that on box beds or very low sofas, it is impossible to place it down there without moving them out of place.

I tried using it on clothes and comforters, but it pulled the material more than the hair itself. In the official product photos, it is used on sofas and the like, but I noticed that I don't need this tool as others do the same.

Performance

I'll get to that later, but what I want to emphasize now is that the use of the vacuum cleaner ends up being more punctual. If you are someone who is used to conventional vacuum cleaners, using them all over the house in one fell swoop and leaving everything clean, here you will need to make a strategy of where and when to use the right speeds so that the battery doesn't die before you finish the job. .

Now when we talk about the technical aspects of vacuum cleaners Jet 65 Pet, it is possible to say without fear that the Samsung put together the best in the world of vacuum cleaners. Battery

And here we come to the biggest flaw of this product. With a voltage of 21.7V, it can be recharged directly using the base included in the kit. Just put it there and connect the cable to the socket and that's it: the time for a full charge is approximately 3 hours. The included battery is 2000mA and according to Samsung, it can last up to 40 minutes of use.

The trick here is that to achieve this result, you need to have the vacuum cleaner at the minimum energy level and without any motorized accessories attached. The manufacturer does not specify what the motorized accessories are, but I imagine they are the tools that come in the package. In other words, the battery will only perform acceptably if you don't use the vacuum cleaner in all its glory.

In practice, I had two experiences. The first one was super disappointing, as I needed to use it and turned it on at full power. The result was the battery dying in less than 10 minutes without cleaning almost anything. In other cases, using at lower speeds, I noticed that it is possible to achieve around 30 minutes of use, alternating between tools. Honestly, I found this time very busy. It's as if you have to use the vacuum cleaner in a 100% calculated way so that you don't waste a second. You buy the product and still have to take an entrance exam with it.

Samsung's “solution” is to have a second battery. So far I haven't found the product for sale and I can't even know what the value of this game would be. Therefore, the possible solution doesn't even have a face. And even if it were possible to buy a battery, this is the worst solution. The product's marketing sells it as being capable of up to 80 minutes of use with both batteries, so there's something strange there, since we don't have anything for sale.

This is quite problematic. At least in Brazilian reality, in the knowledge I have about the use of vacuum cleaners, the idea is to use it as a great cleaning tool to reach more difficult places, but also to be something to clean the whole house at once. In these cases, despite the wires, we do not have a battery limit preventing use, just a change of sockets.

With the use of Jet 65 Pet, I feel that all his tools and ideas seem to be thrown to the wind since if you decide that that day you want to start with the sofas and beds, for example, you will be prevented from cleaning the floor and shelves afterwards, after all the battery won't work. will handle it.

You can sense a bit of the problem here, right? We have a very interesting vacuum cleaner, full of good technologies and tools, but with a battery that doesn't fit into the user's daily life at all. If it were a super affordable product, you could even give a discount, but it is a very expensive product. The argument of being a wireless product doesn't make up for the headache of losing hours of service because it simply runs out of battery.

Conclusion

O Samsung Jet 65 Pet Vacuum Cleaner It's a mix of feelings. Despite following the conventional format of an upright vacuum cleaner, it tries to innovate by bringing several tools and not needing an outlet to work.

However, this choice of not needing an outlet comes at a very annoying cost. The battery is quite disappointing, even if it lives up to what they say in the marketing. Placing the full potential of this product on the consumer's shoulders by having to buy yet another accessory for an already expensive product is yet another bad decision here.

It's even complicated to say that in the rest of the things, the cordless vacuum cleaner does a good job, after all, for it to do this job really efficiently it needs to be turned on. When I received the product, I was very excited and thought it would be a really interesting option to conventional vacuum cleaners. It's sad to discover that when I finish this review, I still have the opinion I had before that corded vacuum cleaners remain the best option in the world of upright vacuum cleaners.

As for availability, it was officially launched in February and is now available for purchase. The value suggested in Magazine Luiza is de R$3.472,63 on PIX. I don't know whether to laugh or cry, honestly. It's a much higher price for a product that will definitely disappoint you at some point.
