REVIEW: Logitech Zone Vibe 100, bluetooth headset for Home Office

In December of 2022, the Logitech announced a line of products designed for work home office e hybrid, with minimalist design peripherals, designed to be carried in the bag.

Design

It has size adjustment springs and some control buttons: Volume, calls, play/pause and the on/off button that also enables bluetooth. It also has a USB C port for the charger.

Construction

Two speakers with 40mm each are responsible for the promise of quality audio with reinforced bass and treble and low distortion. The idea is to deliver an immersive experience for both voice calls and music.

Right from the start, the power of the audio draws attention. As a simple-looking headset, an average experience is imagined, but in addition to high quality and clear audio, the wireless headset also delivers good internal and external sound cancellation. No one hears what goes on in the speakers and the user is completely oblivious to outside sounds.

Microphone

The microphone delivers a satisfactory capture experience for calls and audio recordings, but don't expect anything extraordinary, the audio is quite noisy and bursts a little when we speak louder, a point that can be negative if the user is working in a cafe or in a more crowded place, because in these situations it is impossible to control the ambient sound.

Interesting to note that it is possible to configure the sensitivity of the microphone through the application LogiTune (available to PC / Mac, iOS e Android), to mask these noises, but it's something very subtle that may not fit in many occasions.

Battery

O zone vibe 100 It is equipped with a lithium battery that promises up to 20 hours of battery life. Using it for a few hours to listen to music during office hours and participate in voice calls, the phone held up well and took about 3 days to need a new charge, already in less intense use it was 5 days away from the socket, showing that Logitech It delivers what it promises.

Bluetooth

Regarding the bluetooth connection, Logitech has not made any specific promises about speed or range. But the zone vibe 100 It gets good points here too, the maximum distance I got was about 6 meters. About speed, the connection is made almost instantly.

Conclusion

O Logitech zone vibe 100 offers the best in sound quality for day-to-day activities together with the practicality of being a lightweight peripheral, perfect for those who don't need a lot of resources but don't give up quality audio.

It becomes a very basic equipment for those with bigger ambitions, since its microphone only delivers the essentials for making calls and video conferences. And although comfortable, it can be a little fragile because it is built in apparently thin plastic.

The consumer needs to keep these points in mind so as not to end up frustrated, I would not recommend taking the zone vibe 100 for the gym, for example, and I also wouldn't use it in professional voice recordings, such as a podcast, YouTube or livestream.
