The luminaire has a power of 6W with a useful life of 20.000 hours and works both from the socket and the battery and is bivolt with an approximate weight of 625g.

It works both via Bluetooth and by pressing the round button on the back.

Uses

By pressing the button, you can turn Hue Go on and off and switch between some lighting options, namely: Nightlight, Dimmed, Relax, Read, Concentrate, Energize, Cozy candle, Night Adventure, Enchanted Forest, Meditation and, finally, Sunday Coffee.

These light scenarios were created to simulate times of day and everyday situations, bringing a sense of comfort and helping with tasks such as reading, meditation, having a good night's sleep, helping to wake up and relax. I really liked the light that imitates a candle flame and the way Meditation, which turns the whole environment blue, is a pleasant atmosphere for bedtime.

voice assistant

Compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple Homepod, this smart light bulb is very versatile. You must have the Philips Hue BT app and turn on Bluetooth to initiate voice commands.

Of all the uses, this is the least fun to use, but some like it, and it's relatively useful.

Hue Philips app

In the Hue Philips app, the experience is much more intense, as the user has an infinite number of light and color options and can create their own scenarios or choose from the multitude of alternatives present in the app's catalogue.

Some scenarios have fixed colors while others alternate between colors and intensities, in fact, it is also possible to choose between stronger or weaker lights, which helps a lot to create a pleasant environment. My favorite scene was the 'Honolulu' which alternates between shades of red, pink and orange.

Hue Bridge

The Hue Bridge is a device that connects all of the brand's smart devices, enabling even more modes of creation and interaction.

With the Hue Bridge, it is possible to program the Hue Go luminaire to light up to the rhythm of music, movies and put it to work together with other accessories in the line. Guaranteed fun throughout the house.

I confess that it was difficult to understand the use of the Hue Bridge at first and I had difficulties to get the luminaire to work with other Philips lamps, however, after a while getting used to it, I had a fun experience, putting it to blink with my Spotify and with my favorite YouTube music clips.

Battery

The brand promises many hours of autonomy with the luminaire unplugged, in all, up to 16 hours of continuous use even with bright lights. I used the Hue Go a lot as a work and study light and left it on overnight several times to create a nice atmosphere at bedtime and, in addition to almost not heating up, I plugged it in very few times.

Conclusion

I was completely in love with the Hue Go smart lamp, it is a light and compact lamp that can be taken anywhere, besides being beautiful it is very pleasant to play with the light modes and switch between strong and weak, light and dark. I left it on my work desk and felt much more comfortable with it right there. Even in daylight there are interesting uses for it.

The only negative point is the price, on the official website of the brand it is costing R$ 1.149,00, a pity that it is not a more accessible object, but the value is justified by the quality and infinity of uses that the lamp has, it is an investment worth.
