Today we bring the analysis of the notebook Dell Inspiron 15, which manages to have good results and be quite satisfactory for everyday use, and even runs some games well. Check the analysis.
Design and construction
O Dell Inspiron 15 laptop Its housing is made of very beautiful aluminum. During the tests, I could not notice fingerprints, even carrying the device from one side to the other.

A nice thing to point out is that, when opening the notebook, it has two plastics in the fold that allow the keyboard to gain a slight inclination, making it easier to use.

The notebook keyboard Dell Inspiron 15 (2022) it is very pleasant to use, and because of its size, it also has a numeric keypad, making life easier for those who need to use it. I usually use a Dell G7, which does not have the “Ç” key, which caused me some strangeness at first, but, with some practice, the use became more and more natural, very easy and dynamic. In addition, the keyboard is backlit in white, making it easy to view at night, or when the lights are off. However, its light is not so strong.

Connectivity and ports
One of the things I least liked about the Dell Inspiron 15 Notebook was the location of the input ports. As the device is very thin, they are all located on the top of the board, closer to the screen. For example, the headphone jack is glued to the fold of the notebook, and, on the opposite side, the battery power input. For my personal taste, these ports could be located more towards the center of the notebook's body, and not the way it was made.

As for the other inputs, there are two USB ports, one on each side, an HDMI input, a USB-C input and an SD input. In addition, there is also how to connect devices via Bluetooth.

One thing I need to highlight here is the touchpad of the Dell Inspiron 15 Notebook which is very good. It has a reasonable size, the finger glides pleasantly and best of all: no fingerprints. For those who prefer to use this option, this is excellent.
Camera
The Dell Inspiron 15 (2022) Notebook has a built-in camera that can be closed if the user wants to. There is a small plastic piece that does this very well. As for the quality, it is far from the best on the market.

It has a resolution of 0,9 mega pixels, up to 1280×720 with an aspect ratio of 16:9. This means that the quality is not excellent, but if you need it, for a video call, a meeting, or something like that, it does the job well. In addition, you can also record videos, however, limited to 30 FPS, with a resolution of 720p.
However, if you want to create content for the internet, there are other options available, such as this Dell Ultrasharp Webcam.
Screen and sound
The screen of the Dell Inspiron 15 Notebook is 15,6 inches with a resolution of 1920×1080 with WVA technology (Viewing Angle, wide viewing angle in literal translation). The WVA is nothing more than an LCD screen that has a great vision capacity, that is, we can observe what is happening on the screen even looking at its limit, without great losses.

I confess that I really liked the screen and watching movies, series and anime shows us the great fidelity of colors provided. Even using the device for other things, like writing this review, it doesn't become a burden, and the eyes don't get tired easily. Regarding the sound, according to a test done using the music Holy Wars do Megadeth in app decibel meter, the sound output manages to reach an average of 80 decibels, fully satisfying.
Battery
To test battery life, I basically did two tests: one of them surfing the internet normally and the other playing Rocket League for 10 minutes. During navigation, in approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, a little more than half of the available battery was used up. As I didn't do anything that consumed a lot of power, the battery held up well. However, when turning on the game for 10 minutes, 10% of the total capacity was consumed.

This means that for watching a movie, working on a spreadsheet, or typing text, the battery will give you a good amount of time out of the socket, but for heavier jobs like gaming and video rendering, it's best to keep the charger close by.
Noise and heating
During normal use of the Dell Inspiron 15 Notebook, there is no way to feel the device heating up. I call normal use internet browsing, watching something on a streaming, chat on Whatsapp Web and so on. However, when turning on a game or work that is a little heavier, it is normal to feel the top, close to the screen, heat up a little.
Nothing that burns or anything like that, since, curiously, the device's air outlet is located at the junction of the screen with the notebook's body. And even using it during games, I couldn't notice any noise coming from the device.
System
Dell Inspiron 15 Notebook is available in a few different versions. The user will be able to choose between the Intel Iris Xe or the NVIDIA GeForce MX450 graphics card; For this test, we used the Nvidia. In addition, there is a choice between 8GB and 16GB of DDR4 memory and a 256GB or 512GB SSD; the version used in this test is 8GB and 512GB respectively. Remembering that each of the changes directly impacts the final price of the product.
Overall, the Dell Inspiron 15 Notebook 2022 (1,633) specs are good for everyday work, and especially for studying. As it is light, weighing XNUMX kg, it can be easily carried anywhere in a bag or backpack.
Despite having good performance with games, if that's what you're interested in, it might be better to look at some other option from Dell with a more powerful graphics card. However, if your taste is far from heavier games and doesn't go beyond Fortnite and some old game emulators, this device is a good choice.
Performance
To verify what the Dell Inspiron 15 Notebook can do, we did two types of tests with the device: one with programs that measure the capacity in points and another with tests on free games. Overall, the notebook had good results, recommended for various everyday activities.
synthetic tests
PC Mark 10

One of the great advantages of PCMARK is that, when performing the test, it analyzes the computer through most everyday activities, such as teleconferences, videos, spreadsheets and others.
Cinebench 23

Cinebench 23 puts the notebook to work in two different ways: with all its cores active, and also with only one of them in use. And with that, a score is assigned that can be compared with other processors and where they are located.

As we can see in all the results presented above, the Dell Inspiron 15 Notebook achieved good results, remaining in second place in the test with a single core, and in tenth in the multi-core system. While PCMark 10 tests common PC usage, added to my own experience, the result is extremely satisfying. You can't go wrong when choosing this notebook.
Tests in games
The Dell Inspiron 15 Notebook comes with an external NVIDIA GeForce MX450 graphics card that has 2GB of DDR5 memory. To carry out the tests, we downloaded two free games available from Epic Games: Fortnite and Rocket League.

In Fortnite, the results were quite satisfactory. The game was fluid, even in scenes with many objects. During the game, there was no type of lag or dropped frames, however, the graphics were set to medium, with 60 frames. Which is enough to have fun for several hours.

Meanwhile, in Rocket League, I felt the game performed even better than in Fortnite. As the cars move very fast, I didn't feel any kind of difficulty during the matches, any kind of lag or dropped frames.
Conclusion
In summary, the Dell Inspiron 15 Notebook is a good device to be used on a daily basis. It works well for common main computer functions such as browsing the internet, working with spreadsheets, watching streams and things like that.
For simpler games, it is possible to have fun with a lot of quality, but for more robust games, another Dell product may be more recommended. The screen is of extreme quality and pleasant to use, even after using it for several hours. The volume of the speakers is also nice and the battery life is also satisfactory.
