In September we were at the launch of realme 11x 5G and realme 11x here in Brazil and today you can see the review of the 11x 5G, the more affordable model than the intermediary really 11 5G. With simpler specifications, the proposal for realme 11X 5G is to democratize access to 5G devices without the consumer having to pay a lot for it.
I can already say something super positive: the realme says that the 11x 5G is envy when it comes to battery life and that's true. This is by far the cell phone with the most durable battery I've ever tested.
Unboxing

This device deserves an unboxing topic. In the box it simply comes all you need, from the charger, to the film and cover. A Motorola did something similar to Razr 40 Ultra (which we already have a review) And it's great to be able to take your cell phone out of the box without having to worry about using your cell phone safely.
In the box comes:
- Cell phone;
- 33W charger;
- Cable;
- Film (already installed);
- Cap.
Design

Starting with what attracts the most attention when picking up the device: the ultra-thin design! It's just 7,89 millimeters thick. On the left side, made of aluminum, we find the volume buttons and the power button. which houses the fingerprint sensor. As you can see in the photo, the contact area is very small, which results in failures to unlock the cell phone. Time recognizes, time doesn't recognize. Could be a wider button.
It's a big cell phone, but not that heavy, measuring 165,7 x 76 x 7,89 mm, weighing 190g.

The back is made of plastic and draws attention to the large round module for the camera, reminiscent of the bezel of a watch, and this is no coincidence: titled “Design Hale”, the devices are inspired by global haute horlogerie. The finish on the back is very different from the realme 11 5G, with a texture called “starlight” that resembles the shine of stars. You can buy it in two colors: black and purple.

Below, in addition to the USB-C connection, we also have the P2 input for headphones, an item almost not seen on devices today. The SIM card tray allows you to place two Nano-SIMs and the memory card simultaneously, unlike some devices that allow 2 chips or 1 chip + memory card.
Finally, be careful with splashes, as it does not have water protection.
Hardware

The brain of the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 5G to System-on-a-chip CPU octa-core with 2 2.2 GHz Cortex-A76 cores and 6 2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 cores for lighter activities, manufactured in a TSMC 6nm process. The SoC features the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It has 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and it is possible to use up to another 8GB of dynamic RAM, which is basically “borrowing” the 128GB of storage. Speaking of storage, it has an SD card slot and can be expanded up to 2TB.
It does well in everyday tasks and is very responsive. Opening applications, games, accessing menus, everything works very well. In very heavy games you will need to lower the graphics to avoid compromising gameplay, but if you are not a gamer, the processor leaves nothing to be desired.
Too much information:
- Wi-Fi 5 (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct;
- Bluetooth 5.2, A2DP, LE;
- GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, BDS;
- USB Type-C 2.0;
- Digital sensor, accelerometer, proximity and compass.
System

We have here the Android 13 factory installed running on Realme UI 4.0. It's a very different interface from pure Android or Samsung's One UI, but it's not difficult to find your way around and it has very useful features. There is a game mode with exclusive features for those who need more power when gaming.
One thing that bothered me is the number of applications that come installed, there are many, most of them I don't even know what they are for and I kept uninstalling them. There are several games too, I removed everything.
When the devices were launched, I asked about software updates, and there is no official information about how many years of updates users will have, but the company has frequently updated its devices.
One feature that I loved is NFC 360. Do you know when you are going to pay for something and you need to position an exact area of your cell phone on the machine for it to process the payment? So, the latest releases from realme They have NFC 360, a feature that allows you to touch any part of your cell phone to the machine to validate the purchase. If you use your cards in your wallet Google, here's an advantage that you don't see in devices in this price range.
Fabric

O realme 11x It has a large and good quality screen. It is 6,72 inches in size (close to the 6,8 inches of the Galaxy S23 Ultra and larger than the 6,7 inches of the iPhone 15 Plus and 15 Pro Max), IPS LCD panel and Full HD+ resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels and 392 ppi pixel density) with a refresh rate of 120 Hz capable of displaying up to 16.7 million colors. There are 550 nits of brightness, reaching a peak of 680 nits. In indoor or low-light environments it is more than enough, but in very bright places you may not see everything on the screen.
To help reduce battery consumption, it has 6 dynamic refresh rate levels:
- 120Hz: for System Interface;
- 90Hz: Information Scrolling;
- 60Hz: Reading;
- 50 / 48Hz: Video;
- 45Hz: static.
The screen is excellent for watching videos, playing games, scrolling social networks and browsing the internet. The image is sharp and fluid, with vibrant colors. You won't see pixels and 120Hz is very welcome on a device in this price range, making all the difference to make the visual experience even better. Speaking of which, the touch sampling rate is 240Hz: this means that the screen registers up to 240 touches per second, ideal for those who play very competitive games.
One point that leaves something to be desired is the audio, which is not stereo. The speaker is positioned at the bottom and consuming content with the cell phone lying down may not be as good.
Camera

Before talking about the camera, we need to remember that it is a R$1.200,00 cell phone, and you cannot expect a camera with the best quality in the world. Here we have a 64MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary camera acting as a depth sensor (to help with the effect bokeh, the one that blurs the background).
See all specifications:
- main camera: 64 MP resolution, f/1.8 aperture, 25mm lens, 1/2″ sensor, 0.7µmm, autofocus
- Records videos in 1080p at 30fps
- HDR, panorama and uses Artificial Intelligence to improve photos
- secondary camera: 2 MP, f/2.4 aperture (depth)

Photos of still objects look very good, especially in well-lit environments. But if you take photos of moving things, like dogs, blur may appear. Maybe the shutter isn't as fast, or the processor isn't up to it, I don't know, but photos of things moving might not turn out as you expect.

There is a 2x zoom, but the manufacturer recommends using it only in well-lit places to avoid graininess. For those who like recording videos, the maximum resolution is Full HD (1080p) at 30fps. It may be little, depending on your purpose. Video stabilization can also leave something to be desired, hold the cell phone steady so that the videos are not too shaky.

It has a night mode called Nightscape, but I confess that photos at night in poorly lit places left a lot to be desired. In indoor environments and with good lighting, the result was satisfactory.
Frontal camera

It's a front camera that's affordable, and in outdoor environments and with lots of light it does well. It's not the best, but for the price range of this smartphone, it's super ok. Indoor environments, with artificial light also:

If you change the brightness a little before taking the photo, you will get even better results. See what it looked like after I lowered the brightness:

Front camera specifications:
- 8 MP, f/2.1 aperture, 26mm lens (wide)
- Records videos in 1080p at 30fps
- Panorama function and uses Artificial Intelligence to improve photos
Battery
This is the highlight of realme 11x 5G. You can really use it all day and there's still plenty left. For those who use it heavily for games or social media and can't keep charging it all the time, it's ideal. With 33W SUPERVOOC charging, it takes about an hour and a half to fully charge the battery; It is a value that is within the average of other devices.

It has 5000mAh of capacity, the same value as its brother really 11 5G. The company informs that 29 minutes charging time is enough to fill the battery to 50% and is one of the fastest charges in the segment. There are also 38 layers of security to ensure battery integrity without compromising charging speed. It is worth remembering that it does not have induction charging.
The realme 11x 5G really offers power for the whole day!
Price

It was launched for R$ 1.999 (with a special launch price of R$ 1.799) but it is now possible to find it in the R $ 1.200 in Amazon. It is worth saying that the realme now has an official store Shopee, keep an eye out, who knows, maybe discounted products will appear there?
Conclusion

It's a great smartphone, with a good screen, a battery that really doesn't let you down and at a great price, for those looking for a cheap alternative and with 5G, the realme 11x 5G It is certainly one of the best options. It's not perfect, of course, but for less than R$1.200,00 it's definitely worth it. It's a cell phone full of great features and costs less than minimum wage (something that should be standard in most cell phones).
This year the company completed 5 years on the market and to celebrate they released some super beautiful short films, one of them is this one:
