The new generation of consoles is coming, and it is obvious that with it we will have several new games. When the Playstation 5 was officially revealed there in July of that year, the first title announced was a new adventure of a Spider-Man in the universe of popular ps4 game, but not with Peter Parker. Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales has you controlling Peter's legacy hero Miles, discovering his powers and starting his adventures as a second web head in New York.
The first game of this new era of Spider-Man was an impactful experience, bringing one of the best adaptations of this side of the world. Marvel Universe already done. Expectations for the sequel since then have always been high, and now, two years later, and being released to both PS4 as for the PS5, the time has come to see at least a little of what will happen in these next adventures.
Miles Morales: The Millennial Hero

miles morales was created in 2011 by brian michael bendis on the stamp pages Ultimate da Marvel. A boy with a different family perspective than Peter, he had an extended family, father and mother and a different reality than the original Spider-Man had. His early stories dealt much more with a reality of having a second Spider-Man behind the massive legacy of the first, and as a more urban, civilian hero helping out in mundane homes is just as important as the bastions of justice fighting the cosmic-level threats.
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales works based on these first moments of the rookie, and at the beginning of the game he wears pajamas as a hero's uniform (given by Peter himself) and most of his heroic acts impact the community more than Harlem, where he lives, than the city as a whole. Although the game already starts with a great fight against one of the classic villains of the web-head and the demonstration of the partnership between Peter and Miles, it is in the first moments that Miles acts alone that we see the difference between the two.
When swinging in the webs through the city, Miles is clumsy, inexperienced. He lets go several times almost falling, but manages to recover. Running along the sides of buildings, he stumbles and, fighting enemies, notice that he has much less strength than Peter, with his punches giving much less impact but still being extremely fast.
In his time lounging in his room, Miles has something of a scientist, though much more into cellphones and software development than biological systems, but he prefers to spend his time developing music and beats, a passion of his and many XNUMXst century youth. With this whole package, the game develops the difference between Peter and his apprentice, and makes it so easy to sympathize and like Miles.
City on a larger scale

the New York of Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales it's pretty much similar to the first game, but it's done on a larger scale. The streets are livelier and more detailed, especially notable in the Harlem and its various street arts, population doing various activities, and with all the life that the place exudes. Comments from civilians saying “where is the real Spider-Man” set the tone for how much Miles is still at the beginning of his journey, and add to the immersion within the character.
In terms of collectibles, the game continues the trend of its predecessor and is packed with items scattered around the city. However, with the larger scale, there is a certain greater challenge in the search, since now they can be in details that make it more difficult to find them, even with radar.
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales also changed the way to find crimes around the city, from the in-game application "Neighborhood Spider-Man“. By swiping your finger to the left side of the touchpad of the control of PS4 or PS5, Miles uses his cell phone and enters the app, being able to see a list of all the activities available to do at that moment. Press R1 and you will go to the crimes tab, choose one and that's it, it will be active. It's an easier and more intuitive process than walking around town waiting for crimes to appear like the first game, and I was surprised at how functional it is.
Future-ready graphics

we play Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales No. PS4, but even so, we've already seen several graphical improvements. The lighting is much better, especially when the city is in the morning, with the snow spread across it reflecting the sunlight and managing to show beautiful views. The glass of buildings also bounces off sunlight and Miles' model, making for visually beautiful scenes, and when the city is at night, its billboards and lighting make you feel like you're in a vibrant comic book world, even if the game's artistic direction is on the more realistic side.
No PS4 things stop there, but not PS5, as shown in several videos, the power of Ray-Tracing promises to elevate these visuals a lot. While Miles is a game that will come out on two console generations, it's clear that it's a future-proof game, respecting the limitations of the previous console without spoiling the experience on it but apparently with enough features in the next generation to show the differences.
See you soon, Miles
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales it's a fantastic game. Lasts a lot less than the first Spider-Man, but it tells a story so much more personal and less chaotic than the world that it's hard not to get emotional. the first steps of Miles as your own hero are told fantastically, and with the game world slowly embracing him, no doubt all of us gamers will too. It's a smaller experience, but closer to us. In short, Spider-Man Miles Morales It's a game with a huge heart, and maybe that's why it will become so remembered years from now, or at least I hope so.
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is available in digital format on the Playstation Store for R$249,50, in physical media for PlayStation 4 for R$206,90 and on physical media for the PlayStation 5 in two versions: the standard, which comes out R$229, Ea Ultimate, which comes with a copy of the Marvel's Spider-Man 2018 remastered for the new console, by R$329.
