Rihanna Confirmed In Black Panther 2 With Song “Lift Me Up”

Rihanna announces new song for the movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever which already has its premiere date scheduled for the day 10 November in all national cinemas. Last Tuesday, October 25th, Marvel in its official profile, released a video with the logo of the film with the emphasis on the Letter R of "wakanda forever” and on the date of October 28, the video caused some movement on the internet regarding the mysterious message.

On the same day, it was speculated by fans that the Barbadian singer-songwriter would make her appearance on the film's soundtrack. The singer, who has not released an album for more than six years, had her last work published in 2016 with the album ANTI. The artist's return has been something fans have been eagerly awaiting since the announcement of her grandiose participation in the 2023 Super Bowl halftime.

Rihanna announces new song on her social media

Today, October 26th, the singer also released on her social networks a small snippet of the song that will compose the soundtrack of the newest Marvel movie. Titled as lift me up, the song is a tribute to the actor's life Chadwick Boseman, Black Panther actor, who died in 2020. Check out the Tweet:

A link was also posted on his Twitter so that fans can do the pre save of the song that will be released on October 28th. There is speculation that a second song has been recorded by the singer, but so far no official news has been released.

Composing the team that will work on the soundtrack of the new release is also the composer Ludwig Goransson who was responsible for the soundtrack of the previous film. The composer secured the title for the Oscar for best original score at the 2019 Oscars.
