Learn how to deactivate Claro Recado simply and quickly

O clear message is the service that stores the voice messages left in the company's mailbox, whenever the user is not available to answer calls.

How to disable Claro Recado

 O voice mail service is called Claro Recado stores the voice messages that your contacts leave when you are not available to answer calls. It is paid and is already activated on your cell phone, with a rate that varies according to the plan you have contracted.

With instant messaging services increasingly practical and popular, the use of voice mail has fallen even further into disuse. After all, why pay to leave a message when I can just send a message?

If you do not use the service and want to disable voice mail, you can do this in 3 different ways:

Deactivate Claro Recado via SMS

To cancel Claro's mailbox by message is very simple:

1. send the word GET OUT, via SMS, to the number 555.
2. Wait for the confirmation message, validating the service cancellation.

Deactivate Claro Message via self-service

It is also possible to deactivate by phone:

1. call the number * 400;
2. Choose the first option by pressing “*";
3. Follow the instructions given by the electronic message, always selecting the desired options;
4. Confirm cancellation of voice mail service by pressing “2";
5. Wait for the message that will be sent by the company, confirming the cancellation.

Deactivate Claro Recado with one of the attendants

It is also possible to deactivate Claro voice mail by talking to one of the operator's attendants by telephone. As you may have guessed, this is the most time consuming route, as the attendant will likely try to convince you to keep the service.

1. Call the Claro customer service toll free at the number 1052;
2. Wait a few moments for the operator's system to identify your phone number;
3. Write down the protocol number that will be informed;
4. Select the option “8”, which is the cancellation of services;
5. You will be directed to an attendant;
6. Enter all the requested data;
7. Wait for the procedure to be performed and you are done!

Remove the notification without canceling the service

The voicemail icon on the phone's main screen is one of the major annoyances caused by the service. If you don't call for messages, it's still there indefinitely. The problem is that the call to check the messages is paid and not everyone wants to pay for it.

1. Open the notification shade, where you will see the option to “New message in box”, indicating that the voice message in your mailbox.
2. Press this notification for about 2 seconds.
3. A new window will open. Select the option “Application information".
4. Now just click on clear data and the icon will be removed from the screen.

iOS devices

1. Go to menu “Settings” from your iPhone.
2. Select “Notifications" and then "Phone".
3. Then, just deactivate the option of “Warning on icon".
