Discover Methods to Get Your Windows 10 Computer Ready for Task as Fast as Possible

The computer is the best device to work with, but it is also the expert at being slow just when you need it most. This drama is very much experienced by those who have an older computer, especially running newer software such as Windows 10. In this tutorial, we teach you ways to get your system up and running faster and ready for work as soon as possible.

Tricks to Start Windows 10 Faster

First, it is necessary to check which processes are scheduled to start with the Windows. They directly influence the BIOS time and the time it takes from login until your PC is ready. Of course, there are processes that start with the machine and are unnecessary for you.

Disable unnecessary processes for system startup

Step 1: Open Task Manager;

Step 2: Click on the “Initialize” tab;

Step 3: Analyze the processes started with the system and disable unnecessary ones, especially those that have the greatest impact.

Step 4: Restart the computer, go back to the same Task Manager screen and notice if the BIOS last minute time has reduced. If that wasn't enough, we moved on to a more complex and efficient step.

Load processes simultaneously at system startup

Pay attention to the next steps. Follow them strictly as any mistaken changes to the system registry can damage the machine's functioning. Make one backup of your files and create a system restore point just in case. The following process is reversible if you don't like the result.

Step 1: Press the “Windows” and “R” keys, opening the Run window. Type the command “regedit” and press “Enter”;

Step 2: navigate to the path
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer;

Path destination hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\explorer in registry editor

Step 3: Inside the Explorer folder, create a folder named “Serialize”;

Step 4: In the Serialize folder, right-click, select “New” and “DWORD (32-bit) Value”;

Step 5: Name the value by “StartupDelayInMSec”;

Value creation with name startupdelayinmsec

Step 6: Double-clip the record and verify that the “Value Data” numeral is 0. It should remain at the value 0;

Step 7: Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

From now on, your Windows will load all processes simultaneously during system startup. If the result was not what you expected, you can undo the changes just by deleting the “Serialize” folder, along with the “StartupDelayInMSec” key.

There are other helpful measures to solve the problem of slow startup, such as removing viruses and malwares, disable visual effects, free up storage space, defrag the hard drive, install Windows on an SSD, add more RAM to the hardware and of course leave the Windows 10 always updated.
