Xiaomi 13 Pro camera may be the best in 2023 smartphones

With a 1-inch sensor, the camera on the Xiaomi 13 Pro comes head-to-head with major market competitors, such as the iPhone 14 and Galaxy S23 Ultra

Last Sunday (11), the first official photos of what could be the smartphone with one of the best cameras of 2023 were released. Xiaomi 13 Pro count with Sony IMX989 sensor e Leica brand lens, which manage to obtain results in night shots even better than other devices of the brand. As 1 inch sensor, this smartphone promises to overcome the cameras of current iPhone 14 Pro Max, Galaxy s23 ultra e Pixel 7Pro when it comes to image quality.

But the Xiaomi 13 Pro is not just a smartphone that has a good camera, it also comes with one of the latest screen technologies with the Samsung E6 OLED, the new Snapdragon 8 second generation which is aided by the rapid RAM memory LPDDR5X from Samsung, in addition to the new storage UFS 4.0 which is almost twice as fast as the previous generation.          

The news does not stop here, as Xiaomi also announced the launch of a more compact model with a 6,36-inch screen, a size that the company dubbed “golden middle“, golden mean in Portuguese. The line features the same processor and hardware, but with a flat screen and a smaller sensor size for the main camera.

There's also a new algorithm that helps with faster capture, which is a significant improvement over the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, which first introduced this sensor.

Telephoto Lenses

Another novelty that drew a lot of attention in this release were the 75mm telephoto lens of the Xiaomi 13 Pro that have a shorter range with the 2X to 3,5X zoom range, rather than a longer range periscope system. However, this shorter reach can be considered more versatile, being able to be used in low light and getting better results in everyday situations, as well as sharper photos at longer zoom levels.

The more compact model has many interesting features, such as 3,2mm 75X zoom lens🇧🇷 The main camera uses the sensor 800/1 inch Sony IMX 1.49 and also a spring wide of 23 mm with f/1.8 aperture which is a little faster. This sensor also features the innovative Hyper OIS stabilization🇧🇷 With Xiaomi you can achieve a up to 30X digital zoom🇧🇷 Just like in the Pro version, you also get OIS (image stabilization) on camera with zoom up to 3,2X.

Both handsets use the latest Samsung E6 OLED panel🇧🇷 This is the most advanced display technology available today, with even better features than the current Galaxy S22 Ultra. The next Samsung S23 Ultra model is expected to feature exactly this E6 technology. With it, it is possible to obtain 1.900 nits of peak brightness and excellent color reproduction. In addition, the power consumption of this screen has been reduced by 22%, which should help save battery life.

Price and launch

O Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro are on pre-sale and can be found from 3.999 yuan, about R $ 3.059. However, both devices have not yet been launched globally and are being sold exclusively in China, which began deliveries last Wednesday (14). (environment)
