Samsung presents the new Galaxy J6 and J4 to Brazil

At an event in São Paulo, Samsung introduced its two new smartphones for the national market. O Galaxy J6 e Galaxy J4, devices that come to expand the line that sells the most. In 2017, the line Galaxy J represented 42% of the market.

Design of the new models

O Samsung Galaxy J6 arrives with a very visible change in design, as the device has an infinite display, in 18:9 format, with a 5,6” Super AMOLED screen. In addition, theGalaxy J4 arrives with the typical design that the Samsung already adopted in others smartphones of the J line, with the already known screen format and a 5,5” Super AMOLED screen.

With the idea of ​​pleasing different audiences, both devices come in four colors. Among the options, we have black, gold, silver and the new violet. However, on the rear of the two new models, we find little difference, and in the Galaxy J4 the company follows the same appearance that was already adopted before.

The difference seen in Galaxy J6, is the fact that the fingerprint reader is found on the back. This was due to the reduced edges on the front.

Camera for anytime

With a greater focus on Samsung Galaxy J6, the company added an 8 MP front camera, with f/1.9 aperture, which guarantees good photos even in places with less lighting. If even the aperture doesn't solve the low light, the device has a 3-level adjustable LED flash, which can help when shooting.

on the back of Galaxy J6 we find a 13 MP sensor, which also has an f/1.9 aperture. Like the front, it makes it easier in less lit places. In turn, theGalaxy J4 arrives with more basic cameras, with a 5 MP sensor on the front, prepared for more basic photos, with an aperture of f/2.2. Finally, on the back, the same sensor as the bigger brother is seen, with 13 MP and f/1.9 aperture.

Processing the new Galaxy

O Samsung Galaxy J4 e Galaxy J6 have similar configurations, however, when it comes to the processor, the company has made a good change in both. At the Galaxy J6 we found a processor Exynos 7870, with eight cores at 1.6 GHz, which promises to do well in moderate use, withstanding even more intense use.

However, in Galaxy J4 we found a slightly lower processor, coming with a Exynos 7570, which features four 1,4 GHz cores. In general, the Galaxy J4 is totally focused on the public looking for a smartphone for basic use. However, if you need further processing, you should seek the Galaxy J6.

The RAM memory of both devices has 2 GB, and the internal memory of the Galaxy J4 varies between 16 and 32 GB. In addition, the J6 has a single version with 32 GB (both accept Micro SD card up to 400 GB).

Focused on the Brazilian public

Thinking about the Brazilian public, the Samsung brought the Galaxy J6 on Digital HD TV, something that is really successful in the national market and expands the public even more.

However, the Samsung Galaxy J4 does not have Digital TV and the reason for that was thinking about reducing the value. So, even if it has fewer features, its cost benefit is well worth it.

Galaxy J6 and Galaxy J4 pricing and availability

starting with Samsung Galaxy J6, smartphone can now be found in stores this week. In addition, its suggested price is R$ 1.299,00. In turn, the Samsung Galaxy J4, in its 32 GB version, has a suggested price of R$ 999,00, while the 16 GB version has a suggested price of R$ 849,00. Both versions will be available from the second half of June.
