According to the website EARTH, Samsung today announced in Seoul four new smartphones from the family Galaxy with the operating system Android.
The models will be demonstrated during the Mobile World Congress, which begins on February 14 in Barcelona. Among them are:
- Galaxy Ace (3,5 inch screen and 800 MHz processor),
- Galaxy Fit (3,3 inch screen and 600 MHz processor),
- Galaxy Gio (3,2 inch screen and 800 MHz processor)
- Galaxy Mini (3,1 inch 600 MHz screen).

All models will run the operating system Android 2.2 (codenamed “Froyo”) and will have connectivity 3G e Wi-Fi access.
The manufacturer says the new family was “inspired” by the success of the Samsung Galaxy S, a device that sold 10 million units worldwide in seven months.
The price of the new smartphones was not revealed, nor their release date.
