Samsung launches Vision AI smart TV line in Brazil
Samsung's new Vision AI Smart TVs arrived in Brazil today at an event held in São Paulo. The models feature 4K and 8K resolution panels and feature a variety of AI features for optimal use at different times of the day. Check them out below!
Special Features
Anti-glare screens
Available in S95F and The Frame Pro 4K, Matte Screen glare-free is a technology that works for a special coating or film applied to the screen. This special film minimizes reflections and is perfect for locations where daylight tends to ruin the experience.
This is useful in brighter or more spacious rooms when you can't block sunlight. It's a feature first seen on the 2022 The Frame, but in recent years it's begun to be implemented in traditional smart TV models.
AI-powered image and sound enhancement
Thanks to the use of new processors Quantum Neural 8K e NQ4 AI Gen 3, the new Smart TV models launched today feature advanced image upscaling and analyze each scene in real time to optimize brightness, contrast and definition.
By analyzing the environment and scene of what's displayed on the screen, smart TVs can adapt image and sound settings. One example cited during the launch of the new Vision AI is that the QN90F, which has 8K resolution, can enhance content below that to up to 7.2K, all with the help of artificial intelligence.
Regarding sound, the artificial intelligence present in Samsung's new smart TVs can identify objects that might block sound from reaching the entire room. Another new feature of AI-powered sound is automatic settings, such as prioritizing bass or treble, without the user needing to manually adjust the settings on the remote control.
Dolby Atmos sound
Featured in Samsung soundbars and smart TVs since 2022, Dolby Atmos technology, unlike a conventional sound system with only horizontal channels, allows for more verticality and three-dimensional sound, ensuring greater immersion. The idea is that, after virtual calibration, sound is delivered to the entire space, even if there are intrusive objects in the way.
Karaoke with your smartphone
The partnership with the Stingray Music app allows you to turn your smartphone into a karaoke microphone for new smart TVs. With your phone and TV connected to the same Wi-Fi network, the app, which has a library of over 100 million songs and is updated weekly, projects the lyrics onto the screen and captures the user's voice, playing the sound through the TV or soundbar speakers.
The feature allows up to two people to sing simultaneously using the same smartphone and had previously been shown in entry-level smart TVs in May.
Control your TV with Galaxy Watch
After installing the SmartThings app on your watch and phone, and connecting both to the same Wi-Fi network as your TV, you can control a virtual cursor on the screen (useful when you're cooking and your hands are dirty), activate music, and return to the operating system's home menu directly from your wrist, offering a practical and quick way to interact with the TV.
You can also use the watch to control Smart TVs with gestures. You'll need a Galaxy Watch (Watch4 and above) to take advantage of these features.
AI Wallpapers
Thanks to the new Q4 AI processor, the TVs now feature the “AI Generative Wallpaper” feature, which creates unique, personalized wallpapers based on pre-defined text commands.
This feature allows the TV to integrate even more with the room's decor, generating unique images that reflect the owner's style, in addition to the already well-known “Ambient Mode” function that displays the world's most famous works of art through an online gallery.
