Last Tuesday (20), the Samsung launched, during a face-to-face event, three new monitors. The big highlight was the Odyssey 3D which, as the name suggests, brings three-dimensional viewing technology, but without the need for special glasses. Along with it, the company has renewed two other models: the Odyssey g9 and Odyssey OLED G8. Check out all the news!
Odyssey 3D
The big highlight of the new line of monitors from Samsung in Brazil it is the Odyssey 3D, a 27-inch model that focuses on a truly immersive experience by providing three-dimensional images without the need for special glasses. To achieve this, the monitor combines two advanced technologies: real-time eye tracking — which accurately identifies the position of the user’s eyes — and vision mapping algorithms, which dynamically adjust the depth and perspective of the image based on this tracking. The result is a sense of depth that adapts to the movement of the gaze, creating a personalized and immersive experience.
This monitor's 4K panel offers crisp image quality, and gamer-focused features reinforce the product's purpose. Odyssey 3D as a premium solution for competitive and immersive gaming. The 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time ensure extreme fluidity, even in fast-paced action scenes, avoiding blur and lag that can compromise player performance. In addition, the monitor features compatibility with frame synchronization technologies, such as AMD FreeSync, to minimize image stuttering such as tearing e stuttering.
It also has the 3D Video Conversion, which uses AI to transform videos into 2D through a feature that analyzes the original video and then applies depth to it. It's a special way to enjoy both new and old content in a different way.
Also designed to offer an immersive environment outside the screen, the Odyssey 3D comes equipped with Edge Lighting+, which intelligently reacts to the content displayed, expanding the gaming atmosphere to the space around the user. Odyssey g9
O Odyssey G9 49″ It is a giant curved monitor designed to bring maximum immersion to gamers, especially competitive players. Its ultrawide screen has a 32:9 aspect ratio, equivalent to two monitors. QHD side by side, offering a larger field of view both in games and for those who need to work with larger desktops.
His resolution is the Dual QHD (5120 x 1440), which ensures images rich in detail. In addition, this monitor also has a curvature 1000R, designed to encompass the user's field of vision, bringing the visual experience closer to the natural perception of the human eye. This contributes to more immersive and comfortable gameplay, especially during extended sessions. The panel is of the VA type.
O Odyssey g9 delivers a refresh rate of 144Hz and response time 1ms, which ensures fluidity even in the fastest scenes and avoids delays that can impact performance. In addition, the model is compatible with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, which reduces cuts and image breaks during gameplay. It also has support for HDR10+.

Odyssey OLED G8
Last but not least, the Samsung also launched the new Odyssey OLED G8. It has 32 inches and can be a gamer's best friend. As the name suggests, the model has a panel QD OLED, giving more life to colors and a true black in scenes, perfect for games and also for films and series. The technology glare free is here and reduces reflections by 54% compared to conventional anti-reflective.
The monitor also features 4K UHD resolution (3840 x 2160) and a 16:9 aspect ratio, a standard combination for games and movies. The highlights here are its refresh rate of 240Hz and the response time of incredible 0,3 ms, perfect for keeping your sights on the enemy in shooting games. It also features the AMD FreeSync Pro for smoother gameplay, in addition to the processor NQ8 AI Gen3, which uses AI to enhance image quality through upscaling.
To avoid the dreaded burn-in, this monitor brings the Samsung OLED Safeguard+, which has functions that help prevent this terror of OLED panels. The first of these is dynamic cooling, also called Pulsating Heating Pipe — basically, a cooling liquid circulates through the monitor, keeping it always cool and clear, preventing burn-in. The monitor also has specific algorithms to identify excessive brightness on the screen and thus reduce heat, in addition to automatically being able to reduce the brightness of static images, such as logos, taskbars and game HUDs.
Also designed for entertainment, the Odyssey OLED G8 provides access to Samsung Gaming Hub and Smart TV apps, allowing you to stream games and watch content from multiple platforms without the need for a PC or console. The sleek design, measuring just 3,9mm thick at its thinnest point, is complemented by Core Lighting+ backlighting that dynamically adjusts to the content displayed on the screen.
