With an air conditioning truck, Samsung is promoting its new line of air conditioners and, in addition, preparing professionals to install it.

The vehicle will initially travel through the streets of São Paulo, but will soon be traveling across the country, with scheduled stops in cities such as Campinas, Salvador and Florianópolis. With a transparent side, it will literally serve as a walking showcase for the brand's products and its new technologies.

Among the technological innovations, the main one is the Wind Free, a new energy-saving cooling system by automatically turning off direct airflow when the room reaches the desired temperature.

Another novelty is the eight-pole Inverter Motor, an improvement over the previous four-pole generation. In addition, it allows finer control of the device's motor rotation, reducing energy consumption. Watch a nice video of the Samsung explaining the difference between the two systems.

One foot in the IoT

the new model AR9500M is one of the company's first pieces of equipment with a foot in the IoT (Internet of Things). It can be connected to a WiFi network and remotely controlled by an app. From anywhere in the world you can monitor the temperature of your home, turn the air conditioning on and off.

All this technology comes at a cost. The models Wind Free are hitting the market with prices 60% above conventional models. "But this is a cost that is paid for with energy savings over the course of use, in addition to the greater comfort it provides.", it states Jefferson Porto. This is the Associate Director of Products for the Digital Appliance Division of Samsung Brazil.

Another model that should be launched soon in Brazil is the Cassette 360. With a bold design that looks more like an acoustic box than an air conditioner, it's aimed at large environments. The model manages to cool a hall by directing the airflow to the ceiling. Thus, avoiding that uncomfortable cold wind on the back so common in bars and restaurants.

In this way, the Samsung intends not only to promote its line of new air conditioners, but also to prepare professionals in the field to know how to install the equipment without major complications.
