Cinema Week 2025 has tickets for R$10; watch films and how to enjoy them

Those who enjoy going to the movies can prepare a marathon, because between August 28th and September 03rd, all films showing will be available for just R$10. Film Week 2025 focuses on democratizing access to culture, and the new edition features titles for all tastes. See all the details now.

What is Film Week?

A Film Week is an initiative created by the National Federation of Cinematographic Exhibition Companies (FENEEC) in partnership with the Brazilian Association of Cinematographic Exhibition Companies and Multiplex Operators (ABRAPLEX).

First launched in 2021, the initiative emerged as a response to the challenges faced by the film industry during the COVID-19 pandemic, which resulted in the prolonged closure of movie theaters and the consequent drop in attendance. The event was planned as a strategy to revitalize the sector by offering cheap tickets, at affordable prices, and attracting viewers back to movie theaters.

In addition to encouraging film consumption, the initiative helps strengthen audiences' connection to the unique experience of big-screen viewing in a safe and engaging environment.
