HBO's Sharp Objects Won't Get a Second Season

"Unlike Big Little Lies, where all the actresses wanted to return to the series, Sharp Objects is much darker, with a much darker character and material. Amy (Adams) doesn't want to become that character again and I can't blame her, it's a very big burden for an actress."
