O Shutterstock, known to be the biggest bank of images, videos and sounds in the world has just released a bunch of cool tools. And the main one is the Shutterstock Reveal, an extension to the Google Chrome that promises to facilitate your search for images.

Shutterstock Reveal helps you find images similar to the ones you like

The website, which claims to have over 190 million licensed images in its collection, launched the Shutterstock Reveal as part of their new experimentation site: the Shutterstock Showcase.

Showcase is the platform's experimental site.

In it, the focus is search through artificial intelligence. In other words, this is yet another company investing heavily in the sector. (colorreflections.com) However, the extension Reveal you will definitely have your audience.

Since with it, the user can, through just a few clicks, be directed to image Bank from the website. By doing this, it is possible to download previews of images or even purchase their usage licenses.

“Shutterstock is dedicated to providing our customers with smart, easy-to-use tools and technologies that are seamlessly integrated into their daily workflow”, Said Jon Oringer, founder and CEO of Shutterstock.

Besides the Plugin, other tools were also launched for the experimental site. The first of these deals with the “Copyspace”, which guarantees the user the possibility to search images with space for texts.

Finally, the tool was also launched “refine”, which, in short, allows you to select a few images and, from that, make a more accurate search. In other words, it is a kind of filter.

“We continue to invest in building an innovative platform for our users around the world and in computer vision research and deep learning to improve the customer experience”, complements oringer.
