Group LAPSUS $ strikes again

As everyone prepares for Christmas, yet another system that is used by several people has been hacked. Everyone who tried to access the website of the post offices were unable to do this due to the server that allocates the domain being down. It didn't take long to learn that the Group LAPSUS $ was also responsible for this attack, with a message being sent in a group-controlled Telegram group.

Going back a little in time, this same group specialized in hacker attacks is behind other inactivity in systems that are controlled by the Federal Government, such as the post offices.

Last December 10th, the website of Ministry of Health suffered a hacker attack that proved useless, returning to normality days later. However, the Connect, which issues proof of vaccination against COVID-19, has not been operating for 13 days. Despite Marcelo Queiroga, Minister of Health, announcing that the system would be online again before Christmas, it seems that this promise will not be fulfilled.

Another site of Federal Governmentl experiencing problems arising from LAPSUS$ hacking attacks is the Electronic Information System (SEI), which in addition to not working since the 10th, also had information erased. This system is used by the Federal Police and active debts of police officers in the Union are no longer included in the system.

Post office crash remains unsolved

Until the closing of this article, the website of the post offices still not working, with the message 503 Service Temporarily Unevailable being displayed to everyone who accesses the address. It is not possible to access any of the services. Check out:

Os post offices have not yet publicly commented on the issue. This story will be updated as soon as a public notice is released to the press. There is also no forecast of the return or knowledge if any information was deleted from the system. All the people who also work with the sale of products on the marketplace continue without working and sending the packages purchased by customers.
