Smart TVs from LG became known for delivering high quality images and when it comes to OLED panels, there is no denying that the company is a true reference in the matter. During his passage through CES 2023, the company announced new gaming and picture enhancement features across its smart TV lineup, as well as announcing that its smart TVs can be used to display NFTs.

It will be possible to have access to the games available in the NVIDIA GeForce Now in 4K quality and support for Amazon Luna, game subscription service Jeff Bezzos, has also been confirmed for those living in the US. Check out all the details announced right now.

What's New in NVIDIA GeForce Now

Who owns one of the smart TVs LG can now play the titles available on NVIDIA GeForce Now without the need for a secondary device, but until then, it was not possible to enjoy the maximum quality of games. That's really a thing of the past.

Amazon Luna will arrive on LG smart TVs

Released in the United States in March 2022, the LG announced that the game subscription service from Amazon will come to your smart TVs via a dedicated app. Despite being encouraging news, it is worth remembering that the Amazon Moon is not yet available on Brazil. In the US, the monthly fee costs US$ 9,99 (R$ 54,48 in direct conversion).

It is not yet known whether with the launch of the new smart TVs by LG in 2023, the service will be expanded to more countries. In addition to the Korean company's models, it is possible to access the catalog at Fire TV, Fire tablets, Windows PCs, Chromebooks, Macs, iPhones, iPads, Android and even via gaming hub, Samsung (in countries where the service is available).

AI Picture Wizard

This feature will please imaging enthusiasts. The new artificial intelligence functionality will be launched in 2023 and can be found in the smart TV settings menu with the WebOS updated. In practice, six series of images will be displayed and the user needs to choose two of them according to his personal taste. After all the steps are completed, the algorithm will configure the displayed image according to the tastes of the previously informed users.

During his presentation at CES 2023, LG explained that he used millions of images to arrive at the result displayed at the technology fair. If you approve the change, just confirm it using the button Apply. Traditional imaging modes are still available to users and the AI Picture Wizard it's just a complement that should make a certain difference in everyday life.

The operating system WebOS 22 has a functionality that allows the creation of profiles focused on personalized use, but at least in this first moment, just a configuration of the AI Picture Wizard can be created for everyone who uses one of the smart TVs from LG. In the future, this could be separated for each of the profiles.

LG Art Lab allows NFT transactions

During CES 2022, the Samsung gave a new use to NFTs by allowing them to be displayed on their smart TVs while the screen was in sleep mode. THE LG launched the platform art lab for buying and selling NFTs in September 2022 and four months after that, it now announces that the novelty is coming to its smart TVs.

The novelty was possible due to a partnership with Blade Wallet and, in addition to the purchase, users will be able to connect their digital wallets so that the NFTs are displayed during times when the screen is off. It was emphasized that the entire sales process can also be done directly by the smart TVs of LG and that an update is being prepared just for that.

Paramount Plus app

Wrapping up announcements about new features, Tom Ryan, CEO of Paramount Streaming, took the stage to announce that the partnership between the companies will be expanded. More than 100 channels of Pluto TV will be integrated into the service lg channels, which can be accessed for free on both smart TVs and smartphones with the app ThinQ. The novelty is expected for the first quarter of 2023.

A Paramount also want to use LG's market presence to enter more markets and tom ryan aannounced that the Paramount + will have a dedicated app for the streaming service on LG smart TVs. The first countries to receive the novelty will be United Kingdom e Ireland and it is expected that Brazil will also be included in the list later in 2023.
