Galaxy Fit3 smartband arrives with support for 101 sports modes

After the first information reached the internet during the second week of January, the Samsung officially announced its new smart bracelet, which takes the name of Galaxy Fit3. With a larger screen and renewed interface compared to the Galaxy Fit2, the new smartband is recommended to complement smartphones in the brand's entry-level and mid-range categories. Design and canvas
With official weight of 36,8 grams and thickness of 9,9 millimeters, its dimensions are similar to smart bracelets on the market. The new Galaxy Fit3 will be launched with an aluminum case in three colors: graphite (black), silver and rose, with comfortable bracelets in black, white and pink, respectively. In addition to these colors, the Samsung will sell bracelets in green and orange on its official website for the price of R$99.
The new generation screen is 0,5 inches larger than the previous generation: now, AMOLED type, it measures 1,6 inches and has a resolution of 256x 402 (302 ppi). There's no way not to compare the new smartband from Samsung with models from Xiaomi, realme and HUAWEI, as it also features a more curved screen that makes it easier to view information from different angles.
Another interesting detail is its resistance: the model is certified with IP68 protection (it is resistant to water and dust ingress) and can be used in swimming pools, lakes and seas up to 50 meters deep for 10 minutes.
Talking about the side button, it has several functions: when pressed once while on a smartband screen, it returns to the home screen. Once pressed twice, the exercise screen will open in Galaxy Fit3. When pressed five times, the device will send an SMS message and make an emergency call to 190 through the smartphone connected via Bluetooth.
Sensors
The model does not have its own NFC or GPS. To record walks or any other long distance, the Galaxy Fit3 will use the smartphone's location sensor and then send this to the platform Samsung Health.
But you won't be able, for example, to just use the model for walk-ins or contactless payments. To do this, you will need to buy one of the Galaxy Watch launched by Samsung. The company was succinct in saying that the device is best suited for those who have models from the line A Galaxy ou Galaxy M, as an important health supplement.
And it also has a health monitoring sensor to deliver data about your body, with tracking carried out throughout the day.
Battery
The smart bracelet Samsung arrives promising a long duration: the Korean company states that, depending on the configurations, the Galaxy Fit3 it might work for up to 13 days before asking to go back to the socket. The battery has a capacity of 208 mAh.
Charging is done via a magnetic sensor sent in the box and, at the other end, there is a USB-C connection that can be connected to a power source (which is not included with the device).
Memory and storage
This smart bracelet was developed to be a complementary device and, in addition to not having some features seen in smart watches from Samsung, it also has less memory: it has 256 MB of internal storage and an additional 16 MB of RAM.
As you can imagine, you cannot install apps from the Play Store on Galaxy Fit3. It works with all smartphones with Android 10 or higher (from any manufacturer), which also need to have at least 1,5 GB of RAM. The device also does not work with devices manufactured by Apple , the same strategy adopted for the Galaxy Watch since its launch.

Exercise tracking
