A photo shoot was published by the Vanity Fair which shows the backstage of the last film of the new trilogy of Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker (Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker), in which it reveals very interesting information and new characters that we will see in the new movie.

In this photo shoot, a behind-the-scenes look at what we initially saw at Teaser de Star Wars IX shown during the Star Wars Celebration, which you can watch here:
Forgotten at the barbecue but not quite
The photo shoot also shows characters that everyone thought would be forgotten, the so-called Knights of Ren (Knights of Ren). They were shown and mentioned in the Episode VII: Force Awakens (Force Awakens) but they never had screen time to themselves and their origin was poorly explained, making them totally expendable characters so far.

As is also shown in the Teaser, the Knights of Ren will now play an important role. Could it be that even after all this time, will they still be loyal to Kylo Ren in the destruction of everything the Resistance and Luke Skywalker represents?

Star Wars Isn't Star Wars If There's No Skywalker Involved
And speaking of Luke Skywalker, the film promises to explore the history behind the First Order, and how its growth has conflicted with the New Republic (New Republic) and the new Jedi Orders (Jedi Order) that Luke Skywalker had established.
Even after losing its leader in The Last Jedi (The Last Jedi) the First Order stands firm and imposing as ever, showing that General Hux is still in power, now serving the Kylo Ren.

It is very likely that Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) makes an appearance in the film, not only to explain the origin of his Jedi Order and the emergence of the First Order, but it's quite common for characters who have a connection to the Force to return as spirits to guide their apprentices, as Rey (Daisy Ridley) is now the Last Jedi. These photos reveal that all the gaps in the new trilogy will be filled, making the saga Skywalker finally get the ending you deserve.

New characters, new stories, new planets to explore
Speaking now of new characters, the photo shoot gave us the first photo of the Keri russell in your character Zorri Bliss, lavishing all its Outlaw look and showing in the background a little bit of the new planet that will make an appearance in the movie, called kijimi.

Keri russell had already been added to the new cast of Star Wars Episode IX, but it had not been revealed who she would play, but it is not yet known which side her character will take.

Still talking about new characters, the photo shoot also showed us a little more Jannah, character of Naomi ackie, who joins the cast of heroes alongside Finn (John Boyega). There's still nothing revealed about her character, but she should become an essential piece to the story just as she was. RoseOn The Last Jedi.
The battle between good and evil we all want to see

In addition to new characters, the photo shoot showed us moments that could be crucial for the film, such as the battle between Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) who find themselves at two extremes at the moment, a battle between good and evil.
The battle between these two characters is something fans of the franchise and the new trilogy have been waiting for since its release. Both characters were built in ways that broke all the paradigms the franchise had built up to that point, both were attracted to the light and dark sides.
Memorable characters bringing an air of nostalgia

Another focus that the photo shoot gained was to have shown a little more of the characters already present in the new trilogy, with the addition of a big name that returns after a long time without appearing. Billy Dee Williams bring it back to life Lando Calrissian, a character who has not appeared in the main films since the original trilogy.
In addition to Lando, the spotlight has also shined on a character who has appeared in every movie to date, C3-PO. Star Wars IX promises to show more of the protocol droid C3-PO and prove once and for all that he's not here for fun. Maybe just a little.

A good soundtrack is as powerful as a good story.
Still talking a little about behind the scenes, we cannot forget the soul of all the films and animations of Star Wars, the soundtrack. John Williams he still remains responsible for all the compositions on the saga's soundtrack, a position in which he represents with seriousness and responsibility.

in the photo shows John Williams composing something that represents Princess Leia in her screen moment. The actress Carrie Fisher, who played the princess, would play a big role during the Episode IX, but unfortunately passed away. JJ Abrams has already stated that the film will have a large participation of the actress and will use footage not yet used to deliver the ending that the character and fans deserve.
Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker will be a milestone in Nerd Geek culture and has its premiere date set for December 19, 2019. The film will be the last film in the new trilogy and will close the arc Skywalker, which began on May 25, 1977.
