Super Nintendo World already has an opening date in the US

It's been a while since Nintendo has been announcing a themed attraction inside Universal Park in California, United States. Now we finally have an opening date: the park will make its debut on February 17, 2023. Come check out what's new about this fun installation!

Two years after opening its first amusement park in Japan, Nintendo decides to expand to the US and chose the Universal Studios Hollywood to be the stage for its newest attraction inspired by the colorful world of Mario.

The amusement park opens with a complete installation titled 'Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge' and will feature restaurants, toys, an official store, characters spread throughout the park and challenges that generate points for visitors.

Super Nintendo World™ takes you into the world of Super Mario™. Battle Bowser on the innovative Mario Kart™ ride, dine at the Toadstool Cafe™ and level up with themed merchandise.

Nintendo

The company's intention is to expand the attractions little by little, including characters from other games in the future. The facilities have immersive and technological experiences that grant points to visitors, which can be exchanged for products and prizes at the end of the tour.

Power Up Bands

Amusement park visitors get interactive wristbands themed around the main characters that allow them to activate experiences within the park. With them it will be possible to collect points individually or as a team, unlock keys, complete challenges and unlock experiences with the game's characters.

Bowser's Castle

An official Nintendo shop will be present at the Super Nintendo World, where visitors will be able to find all kinds of merchandising, in addition to an exclusive tour of the main attraction 'Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge'.

Toadstool Cafe

Finally, a Toad-themed restaurant, with interactive scenarios, Mario Kart-themed decor and exclusive and delicious snacks.

This restaurant already exists in the installation of Super Nintendo World Japan, but much is speculated about a completely different menu adapted for the new amusement park in Universal Studios Hollywood.

Those in love with Princess Peach will have the pleasure of getting a photo with her and with other characters that will be strolling in the park facilities, in short, there will be no shortage of fun for anyone.
