TCL presents Brazilian athletes selected for Team TCL

In preparation for next year, the TCL announced new names for the Team TCL, a partnership that supports athletes around the world. Two athletes who already participate in the 2026 Winter Olympics were selected: Aline Rocha and Cristian Ribera. See all the details of the partnership right now:

TCL's investments in sports

A TCL has been investing more and more in the sports market to grow its name among fans of the genre. In February this year, announced a partnership with the International Olympic Committee to sponsor the Olympic Games and Winter Olympic Games until 2032. In 2024, the company renewed its sponsorship of America Cup, which also gave it the second-place position in the global TV market. Until the end of 2024, the company sponsored the men's and women's soccer teams.

And in October of this year, TCL was also announced as a sponsor of FURIA, a professional team.

Aline Rocha

Aline Rocha is a medalist in the Brazilian sports scene who became the first woman from Brazil to compete in the 2018 Winter Paralympic Games in South Korea, where she was also the flag bearer for the national delegation.

She prepares for the JWinter Games 2026 in Milan-Cortina, where she will compete for medals in cross-country skiing and biathlon. Aline, also a marathon runner, hopes to win a medal in the long-distance (20km) cross-country skiing event. For the athlete, sponsorship is crucial for the visibility of Paralympic sports and the inclusion of people with disabilities in society.

Cristian Ribeira

Christian Ribera He is recognized for being the youngest athlete to compete in the Winter Paralympic Games, at just 15 years old, and is the reigning World Cup cross-country skiing champion. He also made history by becoming the first Brazilian to finish in the top ten at the Games in South Korea.

For the next ones Games in Milan-Cortina, his preparation is focused on the search for Brazil's first medal in the four events of the sport that made him famous. Os Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Paralympic Games will take place from March 6 to 15, 2026. The opening and closing ceremonies will be held at l'Arena di Verona, and in the reformed Cortina Curling Stadiumrespectively.

The Italian cities of Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo were chosen as the host cities. Approximately 600 athletes will compete in 79 medal events across six sports: alpine skiing, biathlon, cross-country skiing, ice hockey, snowboarding, and wheelchair curling.
