After launching the C6K in April of this year in Brazil, the TCL is ready to launch the C7K. The model features a screen with up to 2.600 nits of real brightness, with a layer to eliminate reflections and a system optimized for high content consumption. Check out all the details right now.
Design

In terms of design, the C7K It is very similar to its predecessor. It has the same metal base, which allows it to be placed on furniture, but it also has VESA holes so it can be placed on the wall, if you prefer.

The screen is extremely thin, measuring 5,67 centimeters. Its base also has a configuration for easy cable management, and all the ports are on the right side, making it easy to connect. See below:

Other details include the battery-powered remote control, which is the same as the previous generation, as well as having an integrated microphone that allows you to use Google Assistant with just one click. It also has options for streaming shortcuts, such as Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, balloon play, TCL Channels (to access free channels via IPTV) and Disney +.

Fabric

The heart of C7K is your panel with QD-Mini LED technology. This evolution of the already known Mini LED uses thousands of small light-emitting diodes to generate much more precise backlighting.
The result is superior brightness control, with deeper blacks and significantly reduced light leakage (blooming) compared to traditional LED TVs. The addition of Quantum Dots ensures a wider, more vibrant color gamut, delivering richer, more realistic images. See the comparison, with TCL’s result on the left:

A TCL uses an exclusive technology of super condensed microlenses and a design of arc dimming to direct light precisely. With nano-optical materials, these lenses form an ideal curvature that focuses light point by point. The result is a more uniform shine and halo reduction, ensuring sharper and more detailed images. See the comparison below:

The new smart TV from TCL It will be initially launched in Brazil in two sizes: 65 and 75 inches. The company also has plans to bring the 115-inch variant to the country, but a specific date for this to happen has not yet been announced. The showmetech had the opportunity to get to know the 98″ model, which, at least until the closing of this article, had no forecast of arrival in Brazil.
The resolution is 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) and the TV stands out for its peak brightness of up to 2.600 nits on the 65-inch model and up to 3.000 nits on the 75-inch model, making it ideal for well-lit environments and for playing HDR content. Compared to the TCL C6K smart TV, its peak brightness of 1.000 nits already delivered a great visual experience, which we must conclude that, then, the visual experience should be even better in this new model. But this is a subject for the review.

A C7K is compatible with the main formats on the market, including DolbyVisionIQ e HDR10 +, which dynamically adjust brightness and contrast scene by scene, optimizing the visual experience according to the ambient lighting.
Another detail is on the screen, which contains a glass protection that TCL says it is necessary to reduce reflections and deliver a better visual experience. For those who like to play, the panel has 144Hz native refresh rate, providing exceptional image fluidity in fast-paced games.
Audio

A TCL had chosen to enter into a partnership with Onkyo to launch the C6K, but this does not apply to the C7K. For the new generation, the company used speakers Bang & Olufsen, a renowned Danish brand of sound equipment. This translates into an integrated audio system that promises greater clarity, power and immersion, surpassing the sound performance found in most Smart TVs.
The total sound power varies depending on the size of smart TV you choose: the 65″ and 75″ models come with 60W of sound power, while the 115″ model comes with speakers with 100W of power. All three variants have 2.1 channels to deliver a good sound experience.

Compatibility with Dolby Atmos expands the soundstage, creating a three-dimensional audio experience. The model should deliver an even more immersive sound experience when combined with soundbars from TCL, which are also already being sold in Brazil.
Processor

The last generation processor remains in the new model. Under the name AiPQ Pro, the company reports that it is focused on improving each scene to give the feeling that it is being seen in real life.
One of the main features of the AiPQ Pro is Upcaling of Content, which improves the resolution of standard definition videos, transforming them to a quality close to 4K. This means that even older or lower resolution content becomes sharper and more detailed, providing an improved visual experience.

Furthermore, the technology MEMC (Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation) reduces blur in fast-moving scenes, such as sports and action movies. This feature ensures that transitions between frames are smooth and natural, avoiding unwanted trails and improving the fluidity of images. The company has also managed to implement interesting AI features that make a difference. They are:
- AI Scene: Automatically recognizes the displayed content and adjusts the image settings to optimize the quality, ensuring a comfortable and high-quality appearance for different types of content;
- AI Contrast: Automatically adjusts image contrast, highlighting details in dark or bright scenes and providing more vivid and enjoyable viewing;
- AI Color: Analyzes and adjusts parameters such as volume, saturation and color contrast, recreating vibrant tones in a realistic and artistic way, resulting in images with more than a billion distinct shades;
- AI Clarity: Reconstructs missing details in the image, improving sharpness and reducing unwanted noise. In addition, it upscales 2K content to 4K, ensuring greater clarity and precision in details;
- AI Motion: Detects fast-moving objects and calculates the action in terms of frame rate, delivering smooth, blur-free images;
- AI HDR: Supports multiple formats HDRas the Dolby Vision, HDR10 + e HLG, improving image quality by making colors more vibrant and highlights brighter. It also converts content SDR all with HDR, providing a richer visual experience.
Operating System and Interface

The model has the Android TV, system of the Google for smart TVs with high application availability. The TCL also placed a sign confirming that productions with support for Dolby Vision/HDR10+ are being displayed, so you know you are watching content in the best possible quality.
Special Features

For those who like games and want to stay away from problems like “screen tearing”, C7K has the technologies FreeSync Premium Pro e VRR (Variable Refresh Rate). The ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) minimizes the input lagAnd Game Master Mode optimizes settings for games, resulting in a low input lag (about 13.5ms).
In addition, a Game bar Dedicated panel allows quick access to essential information and settings for gamers. The QD-Mini LED panel with high brightness and support for various formats HDR (including Dolby Vision IQ) ensures stunning visuals, with vibrant colors and deep blacks, bringing out every detail in your games.
