TCL renews its line of smart TVs in Brazil, with models up to 115 inches
A TCL presented its new smart TVs that will be sold in 2024 in Brazil. The big highlight is the 115X955 Max, who measures 115 inches and assumes the position of largest QD-Mini LED TV in Brazil. The company also presented the lines C855, C755, C655 and 4K P755. See all the details about each of them right now.
115X955 Max
Great highlight of the event TCL today, the largest QD-Mini LED TV on the market currently has 115 inches. The model follows the ultra-thin design and its screen is just 5,4 centimeters thick. A 115X955 Max it also arrives in Brazil with a Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6 antenna to make the experience even more connected. But does not stop there.
The QD-Mini LED panel gains an increase in image quality due to a nanocrystal filter developed by TCL, which takes the name of QLED Peo. The company claims that it reproduces 98% of the color spectrum, with 25% more brightness than the previous generation and also a useful life of up to 100.000 hours (more or less 40 years, considering general use). Another gain is in the highest peak brightness, which now reaches 5.000 nits.
Processing is done by the chip Third generation AiPQ PRO, which delivers better image and sound when compared to the previous generation. The processor also has artificial intelligence features, learn about each one of them:
- AI-Motion: Detects fast-moving objects with sensitivity to their size and position in the image, calculates movement in terms of number of frames with variable refresh rate up to 144 Hz and 120 Hz MEMC, producing smooth images even in sports, games and movies exciting
- AI Color: system that identifies characteristics and calibrates colors without modifying the skin tone of human characters. TCL promises an immersive experience in both gaming and entertainment.
- AI Scenes: identification system that analyzes the type of scene displayed on the screen to improve colors via algorithm adjustment, pixel by pixel. In a few seconds, the processor will improve the brightness, color, contrast and clarity of the scene for a better experience.
- AI-Clarity: Powerful AI data models accurately analyze each frame of images and perform pixel-level optimization on defective images, so that even low-resolution images have high-resolution image quality effects.
- AI-HDR: feature that enhances scenes by recognizing colors, making them more vivid compared to the original source. TCL states that content with support for HDR, Dolby Vision, HDR 10+, HDR10 and HLG standards will be enjoyed in the best possible way on the 115-inch screen.
- AI-Contrast: using an ambient light sensor, the image brightness will be automatically adapted to make scenes brighter or darker.
A 115X955 Max da TCL arrives in Brazil with a sound system developed by the Japanese company Onkyo which promises to deliver a home theater experience. To this end, there is a set of 12 speakers (in a 6.2.2 channel sound system) that together deliver a power of 120W. Another detail is the delivery of bass sounds at the rear which, according to the company, should also generate greater immersion when watching content.
Technology Compatible Dolby Atmos, the smart TV has support for tracking the space where it is placed and, in this way, can deliver an immersive experience. In terms of signal inputs, we have 2 HDMI 2.1 ports and 2 HDMI 2.0 ports.
Continuing the partnership that TCL has had for years with Google, this and the other smart TV models launched today in Brazil have the Google TV as an operating system. This allows the use of Google Assistant for controlling other connected devices, but the model also supports Apple HomeKit e AirPlay2 for whom devices developed by Apple .
The model also has an interface that allows games and applications to be organized clearly and without that cluttered appearance. A section for children to use the operating system will also be present in this model.
For those who like games, the model has a refresh rate of 144 Hz and support for the technology AMD FreeSync.

Present in the QD-mini LED Ultra Premium TV category, this model will have sizes of 98, 85, 75 and 65 inches that deliver 4K resolution. All variants feature a QD-mini LED screen with a peak brightness of 3.500 nits, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and an ultra-slim design with a screen thickness of 4,1 centimeters.
And there are image enhancement features in the model: TCL placed a six-crystal light-emitting chip that increases brightness and dramatically improves screen performance, providing exceptional brightness and dark tones. The lens present in this chip illuminates the scene in a wide-angle format and this improves immersion.
The processing is carried out by the chip Third generation AiPQ PRO, the same present in 115X955 Max. The model arrives to improve images through human recognition in scenes in programs and games of different types. The AI capabilities of the 115-inch smart TV were also used in the line's models C855.
About sound: the variants have a sound system also developed by Onkyo and the company also promises that through support for Dolby Atmos, the models arrive to deliver sound to the entire space after tracking the environment in which the smart TV is placed. The sound system for 75-inch and 65-inch models is 2.1.2 channels. In other sizes, the sound system has 2.2.2 channels.
The operating system present on all C855 is Google TV, making it possible to control other devices compatible with Google Assistant. But support for the Apple HomeKit e Apple AirPlay2 can also be seen here.
There are four ports for connecting other devices: 2 HDMI 2.1 ports (which support 4K images) and two other HDMI 2.0 ports. The C855 line also comes with Wi-Fi 6 and a Bluetooth 5.2 antenna for connecting to the internet and wireless devices, respectively.
Closing the details, there is support for technology AMD FreeSync, which makes the models great options for those who like to play whether on console or PC.

The C755 line will arrive in Brazil with sizes of 65, 75 and 85 inches, following the standard of having a premium design and delivering 4K Ultra HD resolution through a QLED panel, the model also has HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision IQ, in addition to being 7 centimeters thick.
The processor Third generation AiPQ PRO is present in this model and the same image improvement features via artificial intelligence arrive to deliver a good visual experience. The screen has a refresh rate of 144Hz for those who like to play, in addition to the models in the C755 line being compatible with AMD FreeSync. TUV – Low Blue Light technology, which mitigates the effects of blue light, generating greater visual comfort for the user, is also present here.
The entire screen is divided into more than 500 lighting zones. Full-array local dimming accurately corrects and balances the backlight and image, calculating the brightness intensity for each zone based on image signals, ensuring that each frame can show more light and shadow details.
Another interesting detail is the support for Dolby Vision, which enhances images depending on the type of content displayed on the screen. Brightness management, which peaks at up to 1.300 nits, is supported by the HDR10+ standard to display colors that are more vivid and closer to what we see in real life.
Support for Dolby Atmos can also be seen here and the 2.1.1 channel sound system, through a set of (10W+10W)*2+20W*1 speakers, promises the delivery of audio to the entire environment that the smart TV of the TCL is placed.
Closing the details, the models in the line C755 from TCL arrive in Brazil with Google TV and Google Assistant, but products with Amazon Alexa can also be controlled by using the smart TV as a control. Support for Apple HomeKit and Apple AirPlay can also be seen in these models.

Moving on to the models in the intermediate category, the line C655 will be launched in Brazil only in the 98-inch size. The refresh rate is 144Hz, but this model has a feature called game accelerator and delivers a 240Hz refresh rate in games of different types and is compatible with AMD FreeSync. Peak brightness is 450 nits.
The processor Third generation AiPQ PRO is present here, but only the AI HDR feature can be used by buyers of this model. The company explains that the scenes will be recognized to have their brightness increased, emphasizing the greater vibrancy of the colors. 4K resolution supported by the standard HDR10 + e Dolby Vision it is also enough to deliver a good experience.
The speakers, focused on delivering a home-theater experience, were also manufactured by the Japanese company Onkyo and have a 2.1.1 channel sound system. The power is 20W and the company also confirms support for Dolby Atmos.
A C655 98-inch arrives in Brazil with Google TV e Google Assistant which allows hands-free control of some functions. The model also controls Amazon devices with the personal assistant Alexa, in addition to having support for the Apple HomeKit e Apple AirPlay2.

Closing the announcements of new TCL smart TVs, P755 is aimed at the entry-level market and has an LED panel in sizes of 43'', 50'', 55'', 65'', and 75''. 4K resolution is also present here and the UHD screen type has a refresh rate of 60Hz and peak brightness of 350 nits.
Moving on to image enhancement features, the line TCL P755 has the famous Third generation AiPQ PRO to deliver images with the HDR10+ filter and artificial intelligence features present in the 115-inch model, but without the need to pay such a high price for it. The standard Dolby Vision to see better images is also present here.
The sound system has 2.0 channels and 15W power boosted by the standard Dolby Atmos which is enough to deliver a sound experience similar to what we hear in the cinema. Another feature is the system DTS VirtualX which also analyzes the space for better sound delivery.
Speaking about the operating system, the one chosen was also the Google TV, which has Google Assistant and control other connected devices, such as Amazon devices, Apple HomeKit and also features AirPlay2.
There are gaming features to boost matches of different types and support for games with AMD FreeSync, as well as low latency in faster titles, such as FPS.
