The Game Awards 2022: Check out the main announcements from the “Oscars of Games”

O The Game Awards 2022 it's not just the awards for the best games of the year, it's also the last moment of the year when video game advertisements are made. This December, the event featured title revelations to please the most diverse audiences, and we've compiled them all below. Check out:

Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania

Dead Cells opened the night's announcements with a DLC which will blend the game's roguelike elements with the legendary vampire hunter franchise! The characters and the famous castle of Castlevania return to games in the first half of 2023, bringing new enemies, 14 new weapons, 2 new biomes, a new story, 3 new bosses and 20 outfits for your character.

Originally announced for the Xbox a few years ago, Replaced had the latest news postponed due to the war in Ukraine — the country where the developers are located. Now though, the date has been set for sometime in 2023, with the The Game Awards 2022 showing a trailer for the title with a lot of gameplay and some of the locations that players will be able to explore in the adventure.

Blue Protocol

Blue Protocol is an action MMORPG being jointly produced by Bandai Namco and Amazon Games. Scheduled for release on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, the game leaves the commonplace of online games with gameplay very similar to the famous Hack'n'Slash, while players can customize the characters as they wish.

The release of the title is scheduled for 2023.

Remnants 2

Gearbox and Gunfire Games have revealed Remnants 2, which mixes game elements soulslike with those of shooting games based on loot🇧🇷 The new game will be released for PS5, Xbox Series and PC in 2023, and will continue to be third-person, just like its predecessor, with a focus on cooperative mode.

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

Transformers: Reactivate

The exclusive third-person shooter roguelike from PlayStation 5 already had its PC release leaked months ago, but now the official announcement has arrived - with the title being made available for computers sometime in 2023! The new version should deliver a greater range of graphic customization options, unlimited number of frames and exclusive platform features such as the implementation of DLSS-3.0, ray tracing and monitor support ultra-wide, as well as other Sony releases.

Baldur's Gate 3

During the The Game Awards 2022, Baldur's Gate 3 finally received a release date for its final version, coming to PCs in August 2023! The trailer highlights the gameplay of the legendary RPG and the possible paths the story could take depending on the player's decisions - as well as the return of well-known and beloved characters from the franchise.

The Last of Us Part 1 – PC

For anyone who's been waiting excitedly for the original sad dad game to arrive on PC, this announcement is perfect: The Last of Us Part 1 arrives March 3, 2023 for Steam and Epic Store, bringing all the customization options that are already common to Sony's PC ports and one of the most awarded adventures in video games to an ecosystem other than the PlayStation.
