The Last of Us: Season 2 of the series is confirmed

This Friday (27th), the broadcaster disclosed the information that the series will have a second batch of episodes, to continue the story of the characters Ellie (Bella Rampsey), Joel (Pedro Pascal) and others.

The Last of Us season 2: What will the plot be?

Like the first season of The Last of Us is still being broadcast on HBO, further details regarding the next part have not been revealed. Despite this, after a post by Neil Druckmann on social media regarding the renewal, it is speculated that the second season will follow the events of the second game, The Last of Us Part II, released in 2020. For now, the information remains a rumor.

Other than that, in an interview with the website The Hollywood Reporter, Druckmann and Craig Mazin have already said that they do not intend to develop the series' script into something outside the game's plot; and that an established end to the series of The Last of Us It's important for production.
